Republicans now say (Steele) that the USA should not be in Afganistan looking for Bin Laden and that Obama started that war. Who can believe anything that the Republicans say when they lie so much they think it is the truth.

They've raised full benefits (of at least medicare) to at least 67 with those born after 55 or so ---- so, the answer, of course, is that the younger generation needs to pay and work into their 70s? George Wallace's classic joke fits here like a glove. That is only part of the answer. A start, but only a start. We need to take the cap off earnings, further raise the full and early retirement age and get the fund on a solid cash basis and not unfunded liability of future generations. That means it has to get out of the hands of Congress. With the government now free to spend unlimited funds, all the banter that you posted above is useless and totally out of date in our Brave New World. All Praise Obama! For He is Worthy! |

One thing to point out is that 8 years of republican rule brought us to this financial mess. Don't forget that! Obama is ruling from the center but a new almost Nazi right wing of the republican party views center as socialistic. If things were so great under republican rule then why isn't McCain our President? GDP has grown since fall 2009 and job losses have stopped and we are now seeing new job growth. Obama is doing a good job given the major challenges he inherited. Plan fact. Another fact: Don't Ask Don't Tell is being approved by republican senators only if a $43B fighter jet bill f-35 is put on the bill. The Pentagon said they do not need this fighter jet but republican senators want it due to the jobs it will produce in their states. Isn't that socialism republicans??? Also Gov. Perry from Texas balenced his state budget with $23B from Obama. He cried that this was socialism however in the end he took the money and took credit for it. LOL! The Nazis were socialists.The republican right is more like corporate plutocrats. |
