Latos is a stud, our OF absolutley sucks a** at hitting and A Gon is having a year not up to his standards and is sooo bad at Petco he needs to pick it up.
Scotty should be back on Tuesday we need his bat bad

I am amazed at how well this team is holding up. Can they be in first on the 4th of July?

It will be nice to get Hairston and Stauffer back. No doubt. We really need Stauffer back healthy and pitching as he was before his injury. Stauffer might be one of the most important players this year for the following reason. If Latos is scheduled to only throw 150 innings this year then Stauffer can be used a spot starter to spread Latos 150 innings over the course of the year. Or, he can be used as Latos replacement in the starting rotation for the remainder of the season. I used to think of trading Stauffer for a nice serviceable bat. Now I would hope to keep him for the duration.

Lowest era in baseball through 2 months, that is no fluke and they have proven themselves! Our GM has already said we would add to the roster if we are still it by the trade deadline.

Went to Sunday's 11 inning game. Good win but it sure is frustrating watching our lack of hitting. Hopefully we can pick it up on offense. I hate feeling like we're hopelessly down after falling behind 1-0.

I also believe they said 170 IP on Latos and think if we were in the race they would stretch him a bit. Webb has been a pleasant surprise this year

They'll stretch him to a certain extent but if they make the playoffs it'd suck to not have him. It's one of those things do you err on the side of caution and protect his arm or risk it for a chance to advance in the playoffs.
