Byrd is a non factor- really glad he could tough it out and get cleared to play but he isn’t even close to 100% healthy Yeah was going to comment Byrd is giving little. But he's out there trying hard. |

Our bigs and ballhandlers are very disconnected on ball screens.
Too frequently the big is slipping it when they should wait another second and make contact with the opposing player to give the guard an angle.
The screening action needs to happen earlier in the shot clock as well.
McKinney needs to be more of a distributor and less of a scorer inside against this team, he had some wide open dishes that he passed up for low % inside shots against their bigs.
They need to go to Gwath more, he's literally un-guardable. He's a weapon both in making 3's off the pick and pop, on lobs in the pick and roll, and when he slips the screen, he's good at attacking the rim and can dish or finish.

They were 12-15 on ft's in the first half, we were 5-6.
That's a 7 point edge and we are down 9.

This is a young team. Playing it close with Zaga, and giving Dutch some teaching pointers will serve them well.
