In watching Gonzaga for over 30 years, I've NEVER seen them play D like this. Press, trap, hedging, doubling the ball.
They're incredible on O as well, they just shoot the lights out. So impressive.
We are playing hard and I see tons of talent and upside but it'd probably be better if we played them in a month.
Just try to stay in touch.

These refs are driving me nuts Calling it tight both ways - lots of ticky tack fouls They are not calling s*** when we drive, there have been so many uncalled blocking fouls it's crazy. The # of fouls is close but Gonzaga has been fouling us way more then we have, and they are getting to the line with their fouls. |

Byrd is a non factor- really glad he could tough it out and get cleared to play but he isn’t even close to 100% healthy

Actually not playing that bad. So far, not a blow out. We just need to make some shots, especially 2 pointers. Relying too much on the 3 ball.

They are more skilled and have been together longer. That's the big difference I see.
We need to play close to perfect in the 2H to have any chance.
I'm not upset with how we look. I see a lot of young talent, our guys are playing hard.
After watching our poorly coached FB team and all the questionable game management by Lewis - who I've criticized A LOT ... I'm still bullish and optimistic about our BB team. We may have enough to grab a couple Ws in our 4 game gauntlet.
