Yeah but you're not even willing to engage in a discussion on the other points that I made. You're only focusing on the negative. I didn't even vote for Trump. Get over all the party line hubris and actually engage on the points that I made. He's going to be the secretary regardless, might as well talk about the good instead of just focusing on the bad. If he gets his way thousands of people will needlessly die. Maybe tens of thousands. If you can get over that you need an empathy transfusion, stat. Nothing is worth those deaths, nothing will make up for them. All the good will be meaningless because of all the people who will die. And I don't believe he is a lock to be confirmed. If the public outcry is strong enough that will give the Senators on the fence cover to deny his confirmation. Kind of like what happened with the COVID vaccine in the Biden administration. Oh, and a lot more people then tens of thousands die of diabetes, heart disease, and chronic auto-immune disease every year in the US due to eating unhealthy, processed food, and consuming pesticide laden food and drinking water. You're comparing a mountain of a problem to a mole-hill sized problem.

Each year, it accounts for approximately 697,000 deaths, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This represents about 1 in 5 deaths annually in the U.S. Diabetes is a significant cause of death in the United States, contributing directly or indirectly to many fatalities. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), diabetes is listed as the primary cause of death for approximately 100,000 people annually. However, it is often a contributing factor in deaths attributed to heart disease, stroke, and kidney disease, which increases its overall impact. Chronic autoimmune diseases are not typically grouped under a single cause of death, as they encompass a wide range of conditions (e.g., lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and type 1 diabetes). The exact number of deaths attributed to these diseases annually in the U.S. is challenging to pinpoint because many deaths are due to complications, such as infections, organ failure, or cardiovascular disease, rather than the autoimmune disease itself. However, research estimates suggest that autoimmune diseases collectively affect about 23.5 million Americans, and c omplications from these conditions contribute to tens of thousands of deaths annually. For example: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE): Can lead to kidney failure or cardiovascular issues. Multiple sclerosis (MS): Rarely fatal directly but can lead to secondary complications. Type 1 diabetes: Overlap with diabetes-related mortality statistics (~100,000 annually).

No, we should emphasize and educate the disastrous consequences of such an incompetent hire. You said you were off the RFK train, it seems like you're the conductor now. Life ExpectancyUS: 76 years (2021) Other First-World Countries: Typically range from 80–85 years (e.g., Japan: ~85 years, Germany: ~81 years). Heart DiseaseUS: ~209 deaths per 100,000 people. Other Countries: Significantly lower rates, e.g., Japan (~80 per 100,000), Australia (~130 per 100,000). Reason: Higher obesity and hypertension rates in the U.S.Obesity-Related Conditions (e.g., Diabetes, Hypertension)US: Obesity prevalence is ~42% of adults, significantly driving chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease. Diabetes-related mortality: ~32 per 100,000. Other Countries: Lower obesity prevalence (e.g., Japan: ~4%, Germany: ~22%). Diabetes-related mortality: Typically 10–20 per 100,000. Lower rates due to better preventive care and healthier diets. Complaining about vaccines but not being willing to talk about the impact of processed foods and pesticides on American health outcomes, is comparing a mole-hill to a mountain. The big (obese actually) health problem in the country is the American diet, not vaccine usage. We have so many more additives in our food then other countries, and we consume way more processed food as well (and yes, they are connected). It's an enormous problem, much more important then vaccines. Food is something that everyone consumes every day. It has an enormous impact on our health.

No, we should emphasize and educate the disastrous consequences of such an incompetent hire. You said you were off the RFK train, it seems like you're the conductor now. Typical close-minded Democrat logic. I'm off him as the Presidential candidate, I'm for him as the Secretary of Health. The Democrats chose to pay Beyoncé 10M instead of going on the Rogan podcast because his views differ from those of the mainstream media. The Rogan podcast was better publicity and it was free too. The Democrats use the superdelegate system to handpick their candidates, all the while exiling candidates like Bernie Sanders, Andrew Yang and RFK Jr. The Republicans were inclusive, bringing RFK into the fold, utilizing Rogan, and other comedian podcasters. One strategy was better then the other. One strategy won, despite having an incredibly unpopular presidential candidate on the ticket. Close-minded = less votes. You can keep pounding this drum, it's naive and false. RFK was a Republican plant from the get go, I said it for months. Again with the podcast nonsense? Means nothing. The election was 238,000 votes in the Rust Belt from a different outcome. It has nothing to do with Joe Rogan.

Yep, classic Democrat cancel culture. Not even willing to talk about any of the other points I mentioned. The party is going to continue to lose until they change their ways. As an independent, it's a disgusting perspective. I'm sorry, do you not agree that someone who is against vaccinations should not be allowed to be in charge of public health? I mean, seriously, RFK Jr has been nominated to run ALL of the health care in this country. Him just giving speeches helped lead to 83 deaths in Samoa in 2019 in a tiny country. Just imagine how many tens of thousands of people would die in the U.S. if he gets his way and people don't have to vaccinate their kids to get in public schools! Certain things should disqualify you from certain jobs. That is one. Nothing else that he believes in matters if he believes in something that WOULD lead to thousands, probably TENS of thousands, of needless deaths. The fact that HHS was dead wrong about all things Covid doesn’t exactly instill confidence in the current people. I can understand why democrats don’t like RFK, him being a turnabout Trumper, but let’s let him at least try to do the job before you pass doomsday predictions onto the rest of us non lemmings.

Agree, but that is the problem. If Jesus were nominated the left would find something egregiously wrong. Democrats would rather have the clown below rather than responsible person. Are you saying that person couldn't possibly be intelligent, experienced, and capable just because of how they look on a day off? I'll take someone who's a bit odd but experienced and capable over someone who looks, "Normal," but isn't experienced or capable any day. It's a pretty small mind that can't accept people who are different as potentially brilliant and effective at their jobs based solely on what/who they are. Bigotry is a really ugly thing. You mean like a dude with orange skin and hair, over weight, old, and has small hands? Democrats seem to be very prejudice against and make fun of folk that look like that.

Trump is vetting Russ Vought, one of the architects of Project 2025, for a top position in the administration. He previously nominated Brendan Carr to head the FCC; Carr wrote the FCC chapter of Project 2025.
But yes, Trump's never heard of it, doesn't endorse it and is generally clueless about the manifesto.
Dark times.

Sounds racist, making fun of how a person talks and the words they use. The party of condescending elitists. Anderson Cooper exposed how racist each party was with his kids interview. The kids with Trump signs in their yard had no problem with playing with the kids with Harris signs in their yards. As one of the Trump house kids said "they are all people" This was telling how little progress there has been in the Democratic Party with "inclusion"
