Is it any surprise that Trump is bringing in people who are underqualified, or, sadly, in the case of is Secretary of Defense nomination, completely UNqualified, to run the various offices of the Executive Branch? Pete Hegseth has never run anything, let alone a huge Federal department with 2.8 MILLION employees. It's the largest employer in the country, and Trump has tapped someone with ZERO executive experience running anything. Brilliant hire.

I've got to give Trump credit for one thing, though - he is doing EXACTLY what he said he'd do.
He's bringing in loyalists. People who are more loyal to him than to the Constitution or the Law. Oh, and he's already saying he wants to get rid of 3 and 4 Star Generals who are too, "Woke." Can't have anyone with a different world view or different philosophy on inclusion than him in positions of authority in the Military, can we?
What could go wrong?

There certainly is the possibility of a collision course between Hegseth and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Air Force General C.Q. Brown. The two don't like one another. Hegseth could set off a contentious confirmation fight. I think to all, he is a HUGE surprise.

First blush some of the picks are looking good, however I’ll dig deeper into their background before making a judgement call. Susie Wiles, White House chief of staff. Tom Homan, Border Czar. Excellent pick Elise Stefanik, U.N. Ambassador Lee Zeldin, Environmental Protection Agency Marco Rubio, Secretary of State Mike Waltz, National Security Adviser Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, to lead newly created Department of Government Efficiency a desperately needed department. Surprised about Vivek, Musk was expected. Good picks. Kristi Noem, Homeland Security Secretary John Ratcliffe, Director of the CIA. Another surprise pick. Several picks remain. A good General will always have picks that will have their 6
No matter what Trump does some will criticize.

Now that t-rump has been elected his Chief of staff that got him elected can go bye bye at a moments notice. She said she wouldn't allow the WH to become a clown show but if she butts heads with t-rump he'll dump her in a heartbeat. JMO

Well, yeah, he's an insurrectionist. Unqualified people who are nothing more than Trump lackeys aren't "good picks" at all.

I think most people knew that his picks were going to be Nikkicontentious because he doesn't give two effs at this point what people think. No surprise. He's rewarding some people that are loyal to him, good or bad, but Matt Gaetz? That takes the cake.

Matt Gaetz, Attorney General. Uh oh. The only thing surprising is you sound surprised. This is just the first of many recruits for Clown Show 2.0.

Maybe ask if I'm surprised, since I didn't say I was. I only reported it. The uh oh is about what lies ahead with him. Not surprised, at all.

"Uh oh" followed by "That takes the cake" sounds surprised to me, but no surprise that you're being defensive and disingenuous, it's your M.O. here. Also, no true follower of Christ would be anything but appalled and ashamed by Trump and this country right now.

How many times was it said that "We know how a second Trump term is going to go because we saw the first?" How many times did I say "Well, the first term Trump was surrounded by honest individuals that safeguarded the country from danger and that no longer exists?" Gaetz isn't even the worst pick so far. But that's not the point, either. You're going from a competent administration that was filled with individuals who did their jobs. Now, you're getting an administration filled with unqualified Trump sympathizers who will do what they're told. Immigration hardliners. Unknown economic threats. Be careful what you wish for..

Again, "uh oh" was the expression I used to detail how I feel about it going forward. I already expressed that to you. "That takes the cake" wax to express how I feel of that pick being over the top, but not surprised. I hope this helps.

Yes, and it's about Trump's attitude of not giving two s**ts. I'm not happy with the selections, but not surprised. I'll be waiting for more actions by him that will be highly questionable, to say the least, but not surprising.

Trump wants to roll the DOJ under him, making sure that it isn't an independent department. Matt Goetz is unqualified (Larry H. Parker would be more qualified to be Attorney General), he's likely a sex offender (there was evidence, but not enough to go after a sitting Congressman), a possible drug offender, he's under investigation for ethics violations, and he's a Trump lapdog who will do whatever Trump tells him to do, regardless of ethical, Constitutional, or legal issues there may be.

Like I said, you didn't need to tell me. I knew he was going to pick people that have been loyal to him, no matter their background. I also knew that he could careless what people would think about it.
