The Tritons wouldn't look too impressive walking through an airport but they looked much better coached than us. Not meant as a knock on Dutcher in any way UCSD on 12-2 run Yikes How are they better coached? Did I say they were better coached? I said they look better coached - meaning they are playing more disciplined, turnovers for instance. I expressly said not a knock on Dutcher. Reading is fundamental |

I expressly said not a knock on Dutcher. Reading is fundamental They started five upperclassmen, the Aztecs have a half dozen guys who have never played a D1 game. Experience matters. They really space the floor well and are careful with their passes. They won 21 games last year, so I'm guessing it's not a fluke. |

Having a point guard that you can trust is incredibly helpful and Nick Boyd is a damn baller.
Meanwhile, I'm a little nervous that McKinney might be a little overmatched against better opponents and we're gonna ride with him more than we should because he has experience.

Survive and advance. Occidental provides some room to breathe and work some of the kinks and jitters out. Hopefully a little more flow on the offensive end and some more chemistry.
