They could really corner the Arizona market by grabbing University of Phoenix 😂 Hey, they even have their own stadium. My son's mother flunked out of SDSU because she couldn't pass econometrics. Didn't tell me until it was too late to fix the damage. She went to work and quickly got noticed and needed a degree to get ahead. So, I told her I would put her through National University. She was worried that she wouldn't pass and I told her that she undoubtedly would as long as my checks cleared. I wasn't really joking that time. Not only did she pass, but she met her second husband there! I would say it is money well spent! Then again, it might have ended badly so my comments are nothing. It did make me laugh, and now I am thinking about sending my wife there to see what happens. 😁 |

For profit, online, private "Christian" school, no thanks.
The biggest thing I like about the new PAC is the fact that we have almost all public schools, where you earn your way in by grades, and not connections and paying the freight.
Education should never be privatized and commoditized the way GCU has done.
I am very much looking forward to 2026 and hope we can get a couple more large public state schools to join us.

Totally agree. I think GCU is a good fit for MWC but not for PAC . Im glad we no longer will be in The Mountain West after next year.

they are good for a Conference that wants to raise their Basketball standing but do not help a school that needs a better TV/ Football deal
with their money they will quickly rise to the top of any conference and win at Basketball as they can gather an incredible amount of money for NIL for basketball as they would not have to share NIL money for football players
Will MW schools be happy to see them take over Basketball and get the Auto Bid
