x.com/SportsTVRatings/status/1838601006843859422the CW will be a part of the media package for the PAC. the ratings have been very good. Look at this week's numbers. the CW president also projects the number to increase as they cross promote motor racing and cfb. these numbers are great for both CW p12 games and a bit surprising for how poor tcu/smu performed.

Will Apple come back into play? The PAC 12 blew it by passing with Apple. Apple would have made them a lot of money!

I expect both ESPN and CBS to screw the PAC schools when it comes to media rights, and in fact I wouldn't be surprised if ESPN said no to the PAC's invite of AAC schools. It's good to have the CW and TNT Sports as providers, and with relationships to new PAC schools. Its critical to know that ESPN and the AAC signed a 12 -year deal. The contract will earn the AAC $1 billion over the entirety of the deal, and the agreement will go into effect beginning with the 2020-21 academic year. The contract, which lasts through the 2031-32 academic year, will earn the conference an average of $83.3 million per year. Not all AAC members make full shares, and ESPN added performance kickers to keep Memphis, Tulane, So Florida, UTSA, and the conference happy. "ESPN did get a "conference composition clause" in the contract that protects the network financially if any of the AAC’s top brands exit." If ESPN is on the hook for $1Billion dollars, you know darn well they are going to keep the conference alive as it serves their best interests. Also ESPN hold the Rights to the ACC & Big XII, I am sure that they made so expansion promises to the AAC schools looking westward. Big XII/ESPN runs through June 2031 ACC/ESPN is set to expire on June 30, 2036, the option is Feb, 1 ,2027 AAC/ESPN runs through the 2031 247sports.com/college/marquette/article/espn-aac-media-rights-deal-contract--130286072/
