Who are the top broadcast and streaming partners when it comes to maximizing exposure, driving value and revenue, and leading in innovation?
With over 35 years in media buying, I've worked with many of these companies and seen firsthand how the landscape has shifted. The era of relying solely on linear TV is behind us. Direct-to-consumer (DTC) and streaming platforms are becoming essential players in the future of sports broadcasting. While live sports still command massive audiences, competition for viewers is fierce, and available dial positions are limited. Subscription models will increasingly influence payment structures going forward.
Interested in your thoughts, and will share mine too.
There are NO WRONG answers here.

My fingers are crossed it is one I am already paying for. I do not want to add another monthly recurring charge for one of these services. HULU, Amazon Prime, NetFlix, Disney/ESPN+ included with HULU premium, MAX, Apple TV.
Where does it end at his point? I have refused to watch the NFL on Peacock or whatever it is they are on because I just don't want to pay another one.
Fingers crossed it is Tru/TNT/MAX or Prime.

TNT lost their NBA contract one wants back into sports, college football is an opportunity for that. Apple TV still wants in on college football and already has a previously relationship with the Pac 12, although it was the old Pac 12, a couple of the partners (WSU and OSU) are still on the table. CW is already working the WSU/OSU and if it is successful, which so far it seems to have been, they will want to continue that. As the only major conference in line for a new contract any time soon, these three are most likely to overbid to get access to college football. Some good college basketball could be negotiated separately or as part of the main deal.

This from PAC 12 Commissioner Teresa Gould, I believe that they are looking for innovative ideas for growth and so are the member schools who will accept the risk/reward.
“For over a century, the Pac-12 Conference has been recognized as a leading brand in intercollegiate athletics,” Commissioner Teresa Gould stated. “We will continue to pursue bold cutting-edge opportunities for growth and progress, to best serve our member institutions and student-athletes. I am thankful to our board for their efforts to welcome Boise State University, Colorado State University, California State University, Fresno, and San Diego State University to the conference. An exciting new era for the Pac-12 Conference begins today.”

It will start a little lower, but allow for significant upside school by school depending on their following and subscription numbers.

The MW's current media partners are CBS/CBSSN & FOX/FS1 (who can sell inventory to ESPN) and this year the MW will play on TNT Sports/Tru/MAX.

The Big 12 Conference and CBS Sports announced Monday that they have “expanded their partnership by significantly increasing” the total of Big 12 men’s basketball games on CBS Sports platforms, according to a press release from CBS Sports.
With the previous deal, CBS Sports was required to broadcast a minimum of six Big 12 men’s basketball games on CBS each year with streaming options also available on Paramount+.
The new deal adds an additional 20 Big 12 games on CBS networks, which will boost the total to a new minimum of 26 games annually. The deal is set to run through the 2026-27 season.
Brett Yormack is continuing to push Basketball as a revenue source for the Big XII member schools, despite .85 cents on each $1.00 dollar is generated by football. He also was pushing a UCONN & Gonzaga expansion which was rumored to be shot down by Big XII Presidents, and statements walked back.
