Frankly, I’m just glad Trump is still around to offend you Democrats. Reports are now surfacing about wholesale incompetence within the USSS along with Biden administration personnel tinkering with protection strategies making Trump’s campaign events even less secure than they should have been. Aparantly the Bronx event was also a free ticket to any would be assassins. Trump’s requests for additional security were completely blown off. It actually makes sense, worst foreign policy, worst inflation rates, worst energy policies, erupting all over the globe……and now a horribly mismanaged Secret Service. No way in God’s green earth does this pathetic administration deserve a second term with the Queen of Filpflop City starring in the second act! Not to mention the disenfranchising manner which kicked off her campaign. You Kamala lemmings are pathetic. The novelty and newness push from the media will wear off in about 2 weeks. While I agree that the recent event was guarded like the keystone cops, true professionals could nail just about any American they want. There are modern military sniper weapons and drones that make it not that difficult if somebody is outside much....unfortunately.

You were the person whose mind was so completely programmed by the anti Trump propaganda, you couldn’t even comprehend what the f*** was going on during that whole incident. “It was fake, a piece of glass ect.” So excuse me if I take your stupid opinions with a healthy dose of…..oh right, he’s nuts. Take heart, the mainstream media might just have the brainwashing power to drag this piss poor excuse for a candidate over the finish line.

I can't state this enough: My skepticism was based on having gone through a mass shooting experience. Lived through it. Then, combine that with Trump's track record of extremely suspect behavior and penchant for dramatic events. He's not earned the benefit of the doubt, as far as I'm concerned. You've never really respected anyone else's perspective on this, unfortunately. It's all Trump, all the time...despite the evidence you've been shown over and over. My opinions have nothing to do with the media. You have an unwillingness to confront reality, which runs deep. Let's be real: The name of the nominee doesn't matter. You disrespected Biden constantly. Now you're just projecting out those frustrations on Harris, since you see Trump's tenuous grip on tbe lead is now pretty much gone. It's alright, you'll be fine.

I was going through the central quad area after just passing the office. Three minutes later, the shooting started right outside the office doors in the bus loop. I was fortunate to be running a little late, for once. When you're in lockdown, you have no real idea what's happening outside. Could be one shooter, could be two. Could be explosives involved, like Columbine. My friend was wounded. Shooter was neutralized fairly quickly, thankfully, although we didn't know that at all. We were held in lockdown for over an hour while the parking lot and campus was swept.

I’m very sorry you went through that. I’m a recovering teacher, fortunately in my time in front of the classroom none of my schools ever had an emergency situation like that…..just a tornado which ripped through our parking lot and took out our school sign.

That's terrifying too. Thankfully it didn't hit the school.

It's fine. It's more about illustrating behavior in events like that. People tend to run, fight or flight kicks in. Panic sets in. We were led out at gunpoint by SWAT to the park across the street and couldn't even get our backpacks. They were still in the classroom when we went back days later. My overarching point here is the behavior displayed is atypical of what you'd see in a normal mass casualty event. It was definitely different.

Something you'll never forget, and can change someone's life. My grandmother died the day before the shooting. My mom was actually making funeral arrangements with the mortuary when the shooting took place. She had no idea what was happening, there was a lockdown at another school in Chula Vista the same day, which made headlines....but yeah, it was a tough experience. Going back was the hardest part. Nothing felt safe.

Nothing felt safe. I bet it was difficult. It would be hard to be comfortable after that situation, to say the least. I remember those incidents. I was living in the North County at the time. That must have been REALLY tough on the family coming one after the after. Tough situation that I won't pretend to know what it's like.

Not to mention that there have been numerous photos/videos in the 2-3 weeks since that incident and none seems to show any signs of injury to the ear. An AR-15 some intense damage.

Anyone who thinks THIS guy should be President is delusional. He is a horrible person. Openly racist, too. Well then...

Out of fairness, this is an interview with Tom Cotton and Kaitlyn Collins on CNN. People are saying he destroyed her much like Pete's interview on Fox, where they say he destroyed the Fox interviewer. youtu.be/pZnxF10jfyo?si=65c2QaaoHzmCGuSU

People are saying he destroyed her much like Pete's interview on Fox, where they say he destroyed the Fox interviewer. youtu.be/pZnxF10jfyo?si=65c2QaaoHzmCGuSUWho are "people?" And creating false narratives isn't "destroying" anyone. What you're seeing is a coordinated set of attacks against Harris that are virtually the same - "She's hiding from the media." "She ducked a friendly interview." "Trump showed tremendous courage by taking on an adversarial interview." Buttigieg was able to rely on the administration's record with jobs, the overall economy, leadership, etc. Cotton and his gang of dogwhistlers aren't able to do that. They have to rely on Trump's "character" and "toughness" by painting a picture that the NABJ and assorted media are hostile. This isn't about "fairness." It never was.
