Fentanyl shipped across the Southern border is mostly made by the Mexican Drug cartels and almost all Fentanyl shipped across the Southern border is their cargo. They are getting the money in the end. And the money the Mexican Drug cartels make on human trafficking and fentanyl dealing improves their ability to continue their crimes. You equate mules to Drug lords and give the Democrats a pass on their complicity in this on going crime wave that includes mass murder by fentanyl poisoning. And with the illegal economic refugees comes the criminal elements of their countries. Gavin empties our prisons because they are costly. You think impoverished countries don't do the same? Not the same stratosphere indeed Fentanyl coming up from Mexico is a huge problem in our country. To minimize it is a disservice to all of the people who died, as well as their loved ones. We need to weaken the Mexican drug lords. But how do we do this when their headquarters are in Mexico? We need to work with the Mexican government on this issue. On the US side of things, we need more vehicle scanning equipment at our border checkpoints. Perhaps we also need to use artificial intelligence software to predict which cars/drivers might be bringing drugs across the border. Yeah, good luck with that.

You don't have to view everything through such a partisan lens. It is a huge issue in our country. Democrats and Republicans both lose kids to Fentanyl overdoses.

This isn't about partisanship, what you're suggesting is a blatant violation of civil rights and would never hold up to litigation. Again, it's vastly done through legal ports of entry by American citizens. Heart attacks kill over 700,000 people per year in the United States....are we going to figure that out, too? By all means, if we can end the opioid crisis, I'm all for it. I just think the reality is far more difficult to achieve than just floating the idea out there.

More info coming out about the shooter via the FBI Director. Crooks had googled the assassination of JFK, and how far away Oswald was when he shot him. He was also becoming more and more on Trump leading to the days of the Rally, amongst other things.

Hopefully this act leads to more sensible gun reform and changes to interagency protocols.

If the director of the FBI, appointed by the man himself, says there's doubt...good enough for me.

Too funny. The recreation was from a guy standing about 10 feet away, or less. Of course more damage would have been done from that distance compared to 150 yards. Sheesh.

I'm guessing you don't know how bullets work...especially ones that tumble instead of spiraling...another thing...look at Trump's right hand in his "iconic" picture...the one he raised and covered his ear with...no blood on either when he raises his fist...no blood on his crispy white shirt collar either.....

What I do know is that if you shoot someone from 150 yards opposed 10 feet, basically point blank range, there's a big difference. It's a horrible comparison.

How this is framed goes to Trump's credibility, his electability, his ability to fundraise (ironic, since this ended up being an outdoor rally because he wouldn't pay for an indoor venue and still owes money elsewhere) and his overall believability. Call it a conspiracy - He could have just released his medical records, but you'll have to ask yourself why.

I haven't read where he said there was considerable doubt. That's a big difference. I don't know why the medical records haven't been released. I sure wish they would.

For him to say ANYTHING on the record, much less to Congress, is a big deal. As a Trump appointee? Even bigger. He hasn't released the medical records because he can't use the illusion afterwards and he needs to control the narrative to continue to fundraise. "I took a bullet for you, I took a bullet for democracy..."

A guy in his position must question it, because there's been no official report of it. I'm wondering where he thinks the shrapnel may have come from. I don't think they asked him that. The teleprompters seemed to intact, so where would shrapnel come from? I agree that Trump is the type of guy that would want to control the narrative.

Not particularly, unless you are looking for reasons to circle to a particular conclusion. Remove the word considerable if you want. It still leaves doubt/questions, which is what's operative here. He's under no obligation to question anything, though.

Yeah, Trump appointed Wray as Director, but there's no love lost there, so you can look at it as of course Wray's going to question Trump. They don't like each other.
