Uh, why does it say I started this thread? I definitely didn't, but my reply is the first post...site glitch/error?

Whoever started the thread tried to delete it, but you got your comment in...
Upon further review, it was OC74Aztec who started the thread...not sure what he did...

I saw that another thread was already started about the weather forecast for the Poinsettia Bowl. I thought delete would delete the thread, not just the post. When it didn't, there's no Undo button to put my post back.

Before it was 50% rain, then it went to sunny and 70, then the next day the weather channel said rain, now it reads: Sunny and only 10 % rain. Man, they say the weather is unpredictable, you think?

Anything more than 7 days out and even 7 days out is pretty unreliable. Most reliable is about 3 days out.

All prognosticating aside.
I will be totally bummed if it rains. I took my 7 year old to the Utah game, and he was cold, wet, and miserable the whole night, and wanted to leave early (which we did).
I'm taking him to Poinsettia bowl, to what I hoped will be his first great experience with a large College football crowd (He also went to Utah St. and Nichols state, and the crowds were either tame, small, or both).
So I'm hoping rain doesn't spoil this one too. And all in attendance can rock Aztec Warrior Stadium!
Go Aztecs!

It's not that difficult for certain systems. NWS is saying mostly cloudy with a chance of rain.

WRT the weather, can anyone tell me if Plaza 21 is under the overhang?

WRT the weather, can anyone tell me if Plaza 21 is under the overhang? Section 21, or row 21? In any case, I think you have to be up about row 21 or higher to be under the overhang. Section 21 is right about center in the west endzone, so there is an overhang in that section. (unlike plaza level at the other end of the field).

I'm hoping the overhang reaches there since someone I know who is married to a climatologist at Scripps says that he told her a "Pineapple Express River of Air" may be moving in next week. =Bob

I don't care if it rains, I am still going to the Pointsettia Bowl.

Naw! Rain is only 10% mental. And the rest is cold water.

One must remember that if an area has a forecasted 20% chance of rain, that means that measurable precipitation will fall somewhere in 20% of the forecasted area. NOT that there is a 20% chance that it will fall EVERYWHERE in the area.... (you can look it up)
Booyah!!!!
Go State

Does that 20% factor in the usual dark cloud that looms over me?
