I am sure it’s more excuses instead of just saying that it was for money. Anyone else find it offensive that Butler is wearing Aztec gear while talking about his transfer to KY? Sure, leaving is a business decision, don't insult us with your fake show of loyalty. You figure with all the money Kentucky is throwing at him they at can give him some gear so he can rep his new school. Wildcat for life. |

Sadly I just saw that LB's aunt has been attacking Aztec fans on the FB fan site over the past 24 hours. Tragic that this is where we're at a little over a year after the best sports' moment in SDSU history.

Tragic that this is where we're at a little over a year after the best sports' moment in SDSU history. Wait till she gets a load of the fans on the Kentucky site and X. I won't read her posts but they have been running about 75% to 25% with Kentucky fans saying he should only be a reserve and is strictly a body they are bringing in and not up to their standards. This is when at last look they had about 4 players. |

Kentucky got commitments from both Kerr Kriisa and Koby Brea today. Brea can play the wing, but Kriisa is a pure guard, and really a pure point guard. In addition to Omega Oweh who had already committed. Looks like most Kentucky fans on Twitter are assuming Kriisa, Brea and Oweh will be the backcourt starters, with Butler off the bench. That may be true, but I still imagine him playing a ton of crunch time/closing minutes given his defensive ability. Wonder if he had an idea this was coming, his dad was pretty emphatic in one quote I read about him being "the starting point guard on a bigger stage" or something along those lines.

when all is said and done,-------------it's the money. starting guard for Kentucky, no way. maybe he will get to make the one shot of his life one more time. didn't make another las season. Kentuck might give him a chance, if he gets enough minutes

Even staunch supporters of LB were asking her "WTF?" I think it's the Butler family you should be directing the "leave it alone"/"what's done is done" message to. |

He's getting his undergraduate degree from SDSU and attending another college for a graduate degree. So would you be offended if some other student got there degree from SDSU and went to Cal to get a graduate degree and was wearing a Aztec T-shirt? I doubt you would be. Mr. Butler will always be an Aztec first. He gave us 4 great years he's taking an opportunity to further his education somewhere else just like students all over this country do. You all need to get over yourselves. |

Honestly, I can't believe Kentucky took Butler. He doesn't seem like a fit at all when you think of the BYU teams. Pope loves shooters; you can tell by the rest of their commitments.

He most likely went because his NBA analysis was that he isn't and NBA caliber player so he needs to make money right now while he still can, hence he went for the big NIL dollars versus staying at SDSU. He needs to look out for himself and his family and going to UK was the best option for doing that. |
