A Sweet 16 appearance is a successful season in my book.
Looking forward to who we land in the portal and who we get to replace Coach Acker.

This team was not built to win at a high level We had a chance to get it within 1 possession late in the first half. Butler missed a free throw then all our supporting cast started to miss. Had someone other than LeDee showed up we could’ve kept it competitive. |

They haven't had a close game in weeks. They've lost ONE game in 2024. They're the best team in the country. There is nothing wrong with how Dutcher runs this program. One loss against the best team in the country doesn't mean you tear down an elite program that is truly one of the 20 best in the country. Remember where we were 25 years ago. |

Getting back to the original intent of the thread, congrats to the guys for a terrific season. Think about it, in the last two years, we've been to the national championship game and the Sweet 16 -- and both times it took the best team in college hoops to knock us out. Don't ever take those accomplishments for granted.

Fun season. Almost undefeated at home plus another Sweet 16 appearance. UConn is elite, no shame in losing to that team in Boston.

Love my Aztecs, successful season even with losing in S16. UConn was the better team, size matchup too much to overcome. Keep your head high Aztecs, there’s hundreds other teams wishing they had gotten this far. Go Aztecs

good year! felt the team played above their talent level most of the season. can't ask for much more than a Sweet 16! made at as far as Zona did.

A lot of ups and downs
The most fun I've ever had watching MWC basketball
Made the MWC Championship game again as this team played above their talent level. LeDee went from valuable reserve to a legend in a single season.
Two Sweet Sixteens in a row. That's pretty awesome

This team was not built to win at a high level this team was not as good as last years team, there is no denying it. they had to work harder for everything. yes Dutcher will need better rebounding, more scoring from our guards next year, but they still made the friggin sweet 16! lost to a true juggernaut. Hurley even said his team this year is better than last years. no shame losing to Uconn at all. When i think of the loses we have had in tournament, this UConn team is the best we have ever face, that includes the both National Champ UConn teams. Hell UConn must get excited when they see us this late in the tournament. |

Good season. We were 284th in made 3 point shots. But we still made it to the Sweet 16. That is an accomplishment. But shooting 31.8% from 3 point range is not sustainable in advancing, no matter how good a team is on defense. Eventually it catches up.
I was unable to watch today's game due to work. But I followed it by comments on the boards.
