Uconn's gotta be a double digit favorite.....My heart tells me we can hang....My head says it's been a great year and go AZTECS! UConn opens as a 10 pt favorite. Boston is like a home game for them while we have to travel cross country. WTF? |

Yeah he’s an utter train wreck on O, I hope he somehow finds his mojo in the next 4 days. For anyone whose has or hasn’t seen him interviewed, he’s an incredibly great young man. So humble, almost unassuming. Maybe Byrd can give some of his irrational confidence and swag to Reese. Reese is way too good to scuffle like this. On the positive side, Reese worked hard on D, was hustling most of the game and had some big rebounds. Let’s all think good thoughts for Reese, light a candle, say some prayers. He’s got the physical talent and then some … so he just needs to get the mental side and confidence back. One of the announcers pointed out that Waters' shot looks flat. After thinking about it, yeah, his shots earlier in the season had a nice arc to it. Confidence issue.....Alligator arms....like a receiver running across the middle - tentative! |

It comes in at too much of an angle which is why is clanks around the rim the way it does. |

Nobody gave the Aztecs a chance last year facing #1 Alabama, even some of our own “fans”. I don’t see why we can’t shock the world again on Thursday. I KNOW our coaches and players believe they can do it. That’s all that matters. |

I hope Heidi finds hand before next year. Just cant seem to catch those passes. He also gets his hands on rebounds but can’t hang on. You can see the potential, he has a lot of work to do before next season. |

I figured it would be double digits.... Hope we can make it competitive! We'll need to have this type of performance, and also have a good game from Waters. It would really help if UConn happened to be cold that day. Or had Clingan and maybe one other key starter in early foul trouble. |

I'm seeing UConn as -9.5 at the moment. I figured it would be double digits.... Hope we can make it competitive! I think we opened as 8 point dogs against Bama last year so pretty close. |

Motto from 2019-2020 season was NO CEILING SIR. Also, on the other side of the Boston Regional is Illinois. Payback for the 2002 NCAA tournament loss to Illinois but first beat Uconn. I thought Illinois was over hyped most of the season but man they looked incredible. Their All American Shannon is tremendous, very impressive. What’s impressive are all the All Americans stepping up and having huge performances so far … Jaedon, Edey, Shannon, Shead, Kolek, Sears, Holmes, Love, Scheierman… and several of the honorable mention guys as well. I mean BIG TIME performances. |

Nothing better than a Cigar game to earn a chance at UConn again. Played in S16 vs Kemba led team…..had a chance, they won the NC Played again in NC….they won the NC again. Hope the Aztecs are saying “we will take that win!” Btw, uncanny parallel to last year. The thought of back-to-back Final Fours is so unfathomable to think could happen. Whoa there pardner. Let's get through Thursdays game first. |

In the last 15 years, these are the number of NCAA Tournament units MWC schools have attained: 23 SDSU (and counting) 7 New Mexico 7 Nevada 6 Utah State 5 Col State 4 UNLV 3 Boise State 2 Wyoming 1 Fresno State That's a whole lot of $$ to give away to schools that don't deserve it. The WAC carried us when our B-ball program was at UOP levels. What goes around, comes around. |

Watching the post game show just now and they said a lot of positive things about us. They actually gave us a legit shot to win. Also called it the biggest story of the Sweet 16. That "Lefko" guy they are trotting out this year is quite annoying. Someone needs to muzzle him. |
