I think we were a 5 seed heading into championship week, and I don't think things move that much during this week as is.
Regardless, a win over a good UNLV team at their home, a double digit win against the ranked conf. champ, and a single digit loss to a solid UNM doesn't add up to dropping down a seed.

In today's Bracket Matrix there are 106 Bracketologists brackets. Aztecs are 2nd on the #5 seed line. All of those were posted yesterday or today.
The Top 4 most accurate bracketologists over the last 4 years all have us at #5.
Out of those 106 brackets:
90 @ #5
13 @ #6
2 @ #4
1 @ #7
Some Teams listed on the #12 seed line that we might play: McNeese State, Samford, VCU, James Madison, UAB
Most of those are good lower-conference studs with impressive records and I guarantee that if we get put in vs James Madison or McNeese State, they will be the trendy upset pick over us, especially by Clark Kellog.

I'm not voting because my heart and my brain are having their usual knock down drag out fight. My heart says we still could get the 4 seed. My brain says a 5 is most likely, but for me not to be surprised with a 6 seed. I'm hoping my heart is right, but my brain is very persuasive.

I am not going to complain no matter what seed they get, they certainly had their chances late in the season for a preferred seed/path but it just didn't work out.

I think comes from that he’s a Stanford alumni and thinks of sdsu as a lowly State school. He could have just reported that Lunardi has SDSU as a 6th seed but he couldn’t resist and had to add the “ not good” at the very end to add his negative flavor to the information. |
