TV broadcast could possibly be joining the Mountain West Championship at halftime. Nebraska vs Illinois got pushed from 12:30PM to 1PM. CBS is the worst. CBS better have the tip off in the stream! |

The conspiracy theorist in me is concerned that the powers that be at the MW are in the refs ears anyway they can, as a UNM win gets another team in the dance & benefits the conference as a whole. I know the refs are a neutral organization (not affiliated with the conf.) but it seems with the style of play, as you mentioned, it fits into a convenient theory. I think NM has already punched their ticket, win or lose. They have a 22 NET, there's no way they're not in. |

Random thoughts before tip off:
1) Go Aztecs!!
2) With a win, we ought to be a 5 seed going to Spokane, not Salt Lake City. UConn will probably be there representing the East Region.
3) There are probably a few committee members who are still butthurt because we were in the championship game last year (and not their love children: Duke, Kansas, North Carolina). Plus the game was the lowest-rated NCAA Championship game ever. What is the committee up to this year?

Shame on CBS. They signed off the earlier game right as we were tipping off. Instead of going straight to our game they showed what had to be 5 minutes of commercials so many missed the first few minutes of our game
