Boise and Nevada both lost - wow. I said, and others I'm sure, that any of top 7 teams could win the championship this year. The 6 or 7 seed will be in the Championship game tomorrow for sure.

I'm making the proper sacrifices to ensure the #5 seed gets to the Final. The #5 seed has won the Tourney twice. Both times by the Aztecs in 2002 and 2018.

I’m happy we won but what the hell was the defense with 2.7 seconds left. How does this happen? Was the call to let the kid who can’t miss catch the ball cleanly and then everybody run as far away as possible. We have a veteran team, how can wires get that crossed on the most important play in the game. Shockingly bad, very lucky he missed it as it was a wide open look. Of course the game never should have gone to overtime, but Dutcher botched the lineup at the end of regulation. We used to call that the "Ole!" defense. UNLV inbounder almost throws the ball away & it looked like Butler & Trammel ran AWAY from the Thomas. Head shaking while watching the play unfold.

A pretty important footnote. We never should have gone to overtime because Whaley stepped out of bounds before he hit a layup at the end of the game. Why was this not reviewed and overturned? If these refs are going to stop the game for 5 minutes to review fouls, how can they not review such a huge play. The entire point of having replay under two minutes is to avoid missed calls like this. Inexcusable MW. Here's the other thing. Live, it looked like the UNLV guy screening for Thomas on his tying shot in regulation blocked out our guy like an offensive tackle. Should have been an offensive foul with no shot.

It's time to move on from Parrish trammel and Butler. They are just not getting it done. I agree, it would be hard to be very excited about an offense next year with those guys as 40% of the starting lineup. I would be happy to have butler. Like everyone I am disappointed in his offense, but his great defense from a year ago is still present and possibly even improved. Defense is under rated. We have the consensus MWC defensive player of the year for last 2 years. In addition, I would hold hope of offensive production more like last season than this season. I question if a team had the top offensive player of the year, would they care if his defense was a bit disappointing? Go Aztecs

I saw Whaleys foot clearly out live but figured I must be wrong as the ref is staring at it HOWEVER DOES A REF MISS THAT??! SERIOUSLY Rep,ay showed he was out. Refs missed it. Could have been critical but Aztecs won so ….

Parrish has had a brutal year but he can bounce back.

Parrish has had a brutal year but he can bounce back. I agree he could bounce back but to what? Last year’s level of performance? It would be borderline starter level. It would take away a scholarship from someone that would have more potential (whether the potential is ever realized is different discussion). I would not be disappointed if he came back but would prefer him to move on. I think Covid opportunity at this point should be a great benefit t the team, not a borderline starter. Go Aztecs
