Ledee willed us to that win. Also, the dude's in absolutely INCREDIBLE shape. Hard worker to get that way. He is an absolute Beast and I shudder to think where we would be without him. Also, Trammell was absolutely huge with some clutch 3's, we lose by 20 without those two guys. Trammell has a lot of heart and I will miss him on the team.

I would be surprised if he's back with us next season. It's obvious that something is going on that we just don't know. Is it mental or physical? Not the same player since his ankle injury. I just can't figure out what happened with Parrish. If either of them could snap out of it, our margin of error would go up so much. If they’re both playing well, the others just playing as they have, we are a top 10 team and can probably beat any team in the nation except for UConn & Houston. With one of them playing well consistently, we win the MWC regular season Championship . With both playing terribly, and nothing from the Saunders … we are a middle of the pack MWC team.

LeDee: Best game by an Aztec since Cage’s 40/20 game against Wyoming.

I’m happy we won but what the hell was the defense with 2.7 seconds left. How does this happen? Was the call to let the kid who can’t miss catch the ball cleanly and then everybody run as far away as possible. We have a veteran team, how can wires get that crossed on the most important play in the game. Shockingly bad, very lucky he missed it as it was a wide open look. Of course the game never should have gone to overtime, but Dutcher botched the lineup at the end of regulation.

Ledee willed us to that win. Also, the dude's in absolutely INCREDIBLE shape. Hard worker to get that way. There aren’t enough superlatives to describe what a stud he is. STUD. He is the most unique player I can remember us ever having. His story, his path to success is storybook. Hard work - maybe harder than any other D1 player- pays off for him and the team. Without Jaedon, we aren’t a .500 team. Big time STUD. He can pretty much do it all. He does some things on an expert level, and other things on an average level, but he can shoot, rebound, dribble, pass, good moves, play defense. Complete player. I still cringe when I see that line drive shot, but what the heck, it goes in!!! Lol.

But … we’ve seen “WTF” moments from this team all season, often many times within the same game. When he shot that I was sure it was going in. Shocked it didn’t. It was straight on, maybe 8/12” short. Thank God.

My voice is Hoarse but well worth it. Great SDSU turnout at the T&M. The Trammell half court three at the first half buzzard saved the game and probably a line in MM.

Jaedon was unreal. And he made the basket when we needed it most. If he made his FTs he would had 40.
It’s unfair to the rest of the team to continue to give extended minutes to Parrish or Waters. I’d roll with Byrd and Saunders and live with the results. Parrish is selfish. Rather than concede he’s playing horribly and find other ways to contribute, he just keeps hucking shots. He wanted to be the fouled at the end of the game and gave up a chance to pass the ball. He goes to the line and bricks two FTs.
DT played great. Great passing. I think he needs to shoot more.

I'm hoping we can continue offensively how we started the second half. At least to some degree. Our defense has been lights out. I'm also glad that it's not an early game. They need to rest their legs. That was a grinder.

Was I the only one that thought on LeDee's last basket, we didn't milk the clock at all, leading to the excitement at the end?

Trammel also steps up when needed, is fearless and makes big time shots and plays. He isn’t out there chucking shots, he takes very good shots. I’ll miss him as well. He can tell people his whole life he played D1 basketball, started in the Final 4 and NC game, and was a Regional MOP. No one will believe him cuz he’s so darn short … like, almost Kevin Hart small. That speaks even more to how impressive his career has been. He’s a winner, he’s a baller. He’s now an Aztec legend. I will definitely miss him

The only thing I'm afraid of, if we basically gave Parrish minutes to Saunders, is how much it would hurt on the defensive end, and in rebounding. At least Parrish isn't afraid to mix it up down low and go get the loose ball, etc....

Was I the only one that thought on LeDee's last basket, we didn't milk the clock at all, leading to the excitement at the end? I thought we went early as well - but - we stalled several late game possessions, so going when ready worked. If that was an NBA game, with more skilled players, than definitely yes it was too quick. Glad we survived… W H E W

Now if we could only avoid another slow start by the O tomorrow...

Should be simple but to your point, nothing is simple with this team.

Not to be mean … but Waters is a mess right now. Head scratching, such a great kid and tremendous player when he’s playing well. I would be surprised if he's back with us next season. It's obvious that something is going on that we just don't know. Anyone wonder why USC let him get away? P12 "Sixth Man" didn't go far in the MW. He had a strong start to the season. He's been barely watchable since conference play started in January. Not shooting, lost his starting spot, just not a game factor at all. And tonight, between him and Parrish, the result could've just as easily been a loss. It takes a team, but some of them need to step up and get out of the funk. It's a win, and none of the wins from here on will be easy, but they almost lost this one due to missed FTs and poor shot selection.

The team was a beast on the boards. That's why we won. We had 19 more shots than they had. It would have been embarrassing had we lost. Our piss poor shooting percentage held us down. WTF is the matter with Waters anyway? He was a total minus on the floor.
