Tough loss.They just ran out of gas ⛽️ in the last quarter. Shots that fell all week suddenly went astray and unforced turnovers didn’t help them either. 4 full out games in 4 days will do that. The women really had heart and did themselves proud this week.
Now it’s up to the men…

have to give credit to a good UNLV team that only lost 1 game in the MW and for the season think they were 30-2 and three peat champs of the MW
SDSU battled them pretty tough for close to 3 periods
Any chance SDSU to the NIT ?

They beat us by 59 eleven days ago. I wasn't expecting a win, especially after 3 straight days of hard-fought games. We gave them a game for 3 quarters - better than expected. Hoping WNIT.

Hasn't had a signature win and has watered down the schedule. Last night would have been a statement game had she won it! She took over a team that had gone to the sweet 16 and took her about 6 years to figure out to be a D1 head coach? |

as may have been mentioned the SDSU team was playing for their 4th straight game in 4 days - so very likely were tired compared to UNLV's third game - the disadvantage of the dreaded 6th to 11 th seed that if you get to the finals is the 4 games in 4 days - but for SDSU sure worth it
speaking about coaches did her Husband Coach Hut save his job by beating the Cowboys ?

SDSU was shut out of the 2 minor tournaments. Was this a selection committee decision? If yes, that is a disgrace. Colorado State, New Mexico and SDSU did not get one more chance to play.
