My top 5 portal targets would be the following, all are 3's or 4's who have some position flex. This is not taking into account NIL, purely just the player, so 3 or 4 of these aren't too realistic. These numbers are based purely on the rumors of what other players got, and putting each into similar tiers as those players. Guessing ALL NIL numbers are lower across the board (at least a little bit) to what's actually reported though. 1. Coleman Hawkins, Illinois - likely goes pro, but if not probably a $750k to $1mm type of NIL guys I'd guess. For the 1% chance he wants to play where his dad is, maybe Dutch should make the call. 2. Jaylen Wells, Washington State - another guy who could maybe get drafted, but if not is probably a $300 to $500k type of guy. 3. Trevon Brazile, Arkansas - was originally focused on the draft but appears to be in play to return to college basketball. $200 to $400k maybe? 4. Arthur Kaluma, Kansas State - we have the family connection obviously, I think he got a big number last year but between Mesa's increase this year plus the NIL tournament, maybe we can get just to the fringes of what he'll take. 5. Tyler Harris, Portland - probably the most realistic target for us overall, young player that could grow in Dutch's system. We'll see who we ended up getting linked to over the next few weeks, Tyler Harris would be my best guess between what Dutch has declared we need and someone that actually fits into our NIL budget. I'm sure there's another handful of players beyond this that they're looking hard at too. Harris is a 6'8" Guard who shot 35.8% from 3 but 66.7% FT. Unless he wants a position switch to being a wing, then maybe it works. Trevon Brazile is the a-hole who taunted us along with that ferret Musselman after the Maui Arkansas game. I wouldn't cross the street to p*ss on him if he was on fire.

Maybe if we all p!zzed on him he would "learn his lesson" and become a better citizen; once the blaze was mostly extingushed.

I clicked on a live twitter interview with Hawkins last week hoping to hear him say he wants to go somewhere he has a strong role and win... literally the first 15 seconds he said he's looking to cash out on his last year in college and take the best NIL deal possible. I appreciated his honesty and closed out the interview... lol. Those top 4 are definitely looking to get paid if the league doesn't work out this year. I'll take a look at Tyler Harris.

It was the opposite. Dutcher said he wants a 4 that can play the 3. Tomatoes-Tomattoes But, are tomatoes a fruit or a vegetable?

Anyway, I know he was injured a good chunk of the year, hopefully a return to health will mean a shooting improvement. EDIT: just realized it's because Kenpom doesn't count stats for games against non-D1 opponents.

But, are tomatoes a fruit or a vegetable? Ok then, potatoes-potattoes Although, you CAN make a nice canapé with a tomato and that's close to a canopy so now we're back to our football die-from-the-heat posts from last year. Just about everything eventually works itself back to those damn canopies.

Dude, it’s a message board…give it a damn rest already. Why are you even here if you have no interest in discussing anything? The coaches aren’t infallible basketball gods like you believe. They have in fact missed badly before, 2 different Johnson’s being prime examples.

It's puzzling to me as well, why we're considering a 6'7" shooting guard who has shot below 30% from three-point range and less than 40% from the field. From what I gathered from Dutch and Dave V, it seemed clear that the Aztecs require an experienced power forward to finalize our roster.

Those guys are different to me cause they never really had an opportunity and were more unknowns. This guy was good a while back but then regressed greatly. That’s a different animal.

Well the Gods clearly like something about him because they are not desperate at this point and being very selective with one opening . Maybe they want go him to come for a workout and see if he has the talent and attitude they can coach and develop to help the team.
