I'd say advantage Dodgers on Friday.

Well, that went about as badly as it possibly could have. I'd say advantage Dodgers on Friday. That would be a lousy way to end a really good season. I think the Padres play better away from the pressure at home. Just have to hope Darvish is good on shorter rest. It about boils down to that. Hopefully, if he isn't on, we'll have our hitting shoes on. |

Ugly loss. We got outplayed and outmanaged.
If I'm the Dodgers, I'm running it back with another bullpen game.
We haven't done well against their relievers the entire series.

Our hitters need to practice with Trajekt in the cage against some of their relievers, because we haven't done anything against the Dodgers relievers the entire series. |

0.93 ERA LA's seven leverage relievers (Michael Kopech, Blake Treinen, Evan Phillips, Daniel Hudson, Ryan Brasier, Alex Vesia and Anthony Banda) have combined for this series They've been absolutely incredible. They've made really good pitches throughout the series. I hope that changes tomorrow!!! |

Dodgers announced they are starting Yoshinobu Yamamoto tomorrow. No surprise there. I mentioned yesterday that he would most likely be the guy. He has the proper enough rest, and he's a good pitcher. We can get to him, but Darvish needs to match him pitch for pitch, Darvish and out bullpen. I think if we can get to their bullpen, we don't flame out like we did yesterday. |

It's going to be another bullpen game as soon as Yamamoto allows traffic on the bases. He's given up 13 earned runs in nine innings against the Padres. |
