A couple of hits off king in that inning were dinkers. Needs to make better pitches

King's sweeper ain't sweeping! Well, it is getting swept right out of the park… He has these "moments". I suspect it can be dealt with. He was getting early strikes in the first inning, but that feels like a few weeks ago now. He had a easy inning - whatever Niebla was talking to him about between innings must've made complete sense - and better yet, he was able to put it into practice.

Estrada comes through. Now the Padres hitters need to get back in the box and start moving runners around the base path.

Frozen Pizza for Ohtani!
Don't trust Suarez any farther than you can throw him… and here he comes. Fingers, hands, toes and feet crossed!

Here we go!!! Top of nine!!! Muncy and Smith have power. Gotta be careful with them. No walks.

Suarez is doing a better job of dancing around the strike zone more. The key for him too is, if you're going to throw a lot of fastballs, don't walk anyone.

Never thought this game would end 6-5. Both bullpens did great. Fortunately, the Dodders gave us extra outs that one inning, and of course Tatis goes yard to win it.

Also, Scott came through big time in the eighth against Ohtani and Betts.

Ball wasn't moving across the plate as much, I think he was getting less rotation through his delivery.

This one went from an offensive run fest to a pitching and defensive showcase.
And the Pads won both!
This team seems to have that swagger that was missing two years ago.
Hopefully, that turns into a World Series win!
