Royals sweep the O's as well. So far Pads the only team taking care of biz at home.

They are still the best team right now. I predict the Mets give them a run for their $. The Mets were very fortunate in their season series with them, somehow they managed to get Taijuan Walker three times and avoid the top arms. Won't be quite as fortunate in a playoff series.

Royals sweep the O's as well. So far Pads the only team taking care of biz at home. Every team that has won game one of the series in the expanded playoff era has ended up winning the series. There's only been one non-sweep.

Machado wanted that Grand Salami just a little too much. A run right there would've been helpful - instead, they got a Manny K.
If they load the bases - with NO OUTS - and can't even get one run plated, this might not be a happy night.
Machado gets another chance. Same situation. Two outs.
Will he do it?
YES!!

Fried and three other marginal players for Justin Upton and Aaron Northcraft.
Not a particularly memorable deal for AJP.

I'd like to hear the announcers talk about Musgroves curve ball. It's cartoon character like.

Looks like now, Musgrove's dropped out. Wow.
Bad turn of events. Looked like he was trying to "unstick" his elbow - but who knows. At least they have a plethora of options left to throw at the opposition. Perez and/or Waldo and/or Vasquez have all shown they can fill in without missing a beat.
And the BP can take the innings left tonight.

Manny could be greater than Cammy. Eventually.

Manny could be greater than Cammy. Eventually. Manny's playing like he RALLY wants that WS Ring. They all are. I would love to see Manny get one here with SD. Does Manny go into the Hall of Fame representing San Diego?

Does Manny go into the Hall of Fame representing San Diego? I think he would. Even though he started in Baltimore - and had a great start there - I think he's made more of a name for himself here in San Diego than elsewhere - and unless something crazy happens, he's gonna be here for another 9 years.

That's exactly what I was thinking. All most a no brainer by now. I was just wondering if I was missing something pertaining to that. Thanks.
