This Adam clown better pull some better pitches out of his AZZZZZtecs in a hurry.
Unbelievable.

Credit to Harris, good swing. He's a stud.
Offense needs to at least threaten in the bottom half.

A run or two here would be ideal.

Gotta trust Suarez is going to do his job. Luckily the big guns have already been up, but they're still dangerous.

Gotta trust Suarez is going to do his job. Luckily the big guns have already been up, but they're still dangerous. Padres did diddly since they scored the 5th run. Having to bat in the bottom of the 9th and/or extra innings won't be optimal tonight. Braves are on the rocks. Literally and figuratively. But wait for it… JG Wentworth just showed up FTW!!!!

Padres have handled doyers all season long this year. They've already shown they're a better team than LA - numerous times. Just keep it going.

So will it be Cease, Darvish, King, then Perez? or Musgrove, then Cease if needed?

So will it be Cease, Darvish, King, then Perez? or Musgrove, then Cease if needed? Won't know until imaging is done, but I wouldn't expect Musgrove back. He said the elbow had bothered him in the week leading up to tonight and it's not related to the bone spurs.

What a "backup" we have in Darvish. The stars are aligned. At least the Dodgers staff is questionable at best.
Winning so quickly also gives Freeman less time to recover. Anyone hear how he's doing?

Doesn't give him less time, the series still starts Saturday. Roberts said last week he expected him to play.

So will it be Cease, Darvish, King, then Perez? or Musgrove, then Cease if needed? After watching King on Tuesday I'm pitching him on normal rest in game 2, then you have him for game 5 if needed. If he starts game 3 that it's for him in this series and I want arguably my best pitcher potentially pitching twice vs. the Doyers.

Fried gets butt hurt early. Tatis tattooed his AZZZZZZZZZtecs with that one! I think Junior likes playing in front of fans in the playoffs: .667/.750/1.167

Hopefully the Padres don't have to go to Johnny Wholestaff during the series. Doyers will likely be appealing to that option, though. They've got what, one, two dependable arms? And who knows what they'll get from Yamamoto. Do they even know? His September starts weren't particularly impressive unless you're a doyer fan and you've got nothing else better to hope for right now. 5 innings was his deepest appearance. Anyone else? Anyone? Buehler? Anyone? So it's Flaherty and then
