Roberts should'a listened to Buehler and left him in. Padres plate another run. No idea what he's doing with the bullpen, so it's a typical day that ends in Y.

The "other side of the game" meaning you make things up that don't really exist? You're talking about Suarez being lazy, not working on a secondary pitch, being overconfident....none of those things are provable. You're guessing. And it's not even true. To answer your question, no, I'm not guessing. You're guessing that I'm guessing because you don't know anything more than stats it seems and you haven't talked to people in the know that's on the team. I never said that he was lazy, you're putting words in my mouth. I'm saying that he's so enamored with his fastball and the early success he had with it, he still thinks he can just blow it by people, even with two strikes. I'm not speculating. I've heard this, and on top of it, it's there for all to see. It's not rocket science for most. I'm sure you have.

The Padres bats, which have been clutch all season, are leaving too many duck on the pond!

I know it does, so don't let it bother you too much. You'll bounce back. The funny thing is...a simple look at his Statcast page refutes everything you've said. But I digress. I'm sure your "sources" are in the know.

Musgrove still chugging away. Very economical with pitches tonight. PC - 70 after six. Still a shutout - 4 hitter.

Or not. Not yet, at least.

Well, so much for that. Always leaves em too long. Tough luck. New ballgame.
Scott can't do the job, either. Horrible performance. Just sucked it. 5 run 7th. And that's probably the ballgame.
But wait - Freddy Freeloader might be taking a powder for the foreseeable future… Replay shows - OWWWWW!

Huh. Almost like those guys have been...overused. Yes, it's all on the Manager. Like you said, 127 percent. The players have zero fault.

Huh. Almost like those guys have been...overused. Who, Musgrove? He didn't throw many pitches. Scott simply didn't do his job, but go ahead and cling to that notion.

Start the inning, fine. Once he lost the plate, the night should've been over. But who ya gonna call? Scott? All he did was make the mess even worse.

And then, it was over.
BP breakdown tonight.
Really bad timing. They'd better get their act together on the plane tonight. These games were not all that important, but now that they've managed to lose the last two the next three will be…

Hard to blame Matsui for anything, he hasn't thrown a pitch since the Bush administration.

Matsui did fine against Shohei. No idea why Profar was playing so deep - it's like he was playing at no doubles ever depth, almost on the warning track - but the bases were empty, so that doesn't make sense - and Shohei is fast enough to stretch it into a double after Profar couldn't make the catch. That was 100% on Profar's positioning in the outfield, honestly. It's not like Dodger Stadium is a cavernous park.
