Okay. The fact is that World Series winners aren't pacing for 84 wins on the regular. Making the playoffs isn't the objective of the organization. Of course it isn't the objective. But you still have a chance to win if you get in as a wild card. Or, is that just another cliche? Look at the historical data. You tell me. |

For all your insights and information, do you have to be so defensive and argumentative 87% of the time? You’re allowed to be wrong once in a while. We all are, well, except for you apparently. If you repeated the same information over and over, ultimately not the point of the conversation...I'd have the same reaction. It's not about making the playoffs, as I've said multiple times now. Sorry, I just don't want to repeat the same things to the same degree. |

Finally got the chance to attend a game again today. Hope it's a W. … stats say ATL 54.4%, so a good strategy might be to cheer really loudly - or just have a good time at the ballpark today, win or lose. |

The Dodgers are a mess...walked off again on two errors by the pitcher in the ninth. But they are in the right division, as they have the 2nd largest division lead in MLB. It will be interesting to see what they do by the trade deadline. |

It will be interesting to see what they do by the trade deadline. Winning the division wasn't really ever a doubt. They were forecasted to win 104 games. They'll have the money to do something, of course. |

They are stumbling like drunks as they head into the ASB. It's not a good omen for what's left of the season. The inability to pull themselves out of these protracted dives this season is an ongoing problem that they have not found the answer for. Whether it's coming from pitching, hitting, or both, the inconsistent performances from both doom them to a mediocre record this season - and that's if nothing else goes haywire with this team between now and the end of September.
