Local sports reporters still care more about the LA Losers than SDSU. Suprised they didn't ask his favorite flavors. Would of loiked to hear about if he has talked/chosen his assistants, no names, just that he hit road running.

The media had breakout sessions with the coach after the press conference, so they knew they'd have the opportunity to ask more direct questions then. He's also going to be on the radio (Jon & Jim, 3 PM hour) so no reason for Jon to ask any questions during the presser. It's not about being soft, it's about knowing you'll have more direct opportunities to ask several questions later on. But funny how people jump to that conclusion. Good presser for Lewis. He talks like his offense - very fast, and with no huddles (periods/breaks). Wife & kids seemed to enjoy it as well. |

Yeah, definitely bringing the energy. As for talking about staff as other on here have inquired. I expect that candidates have to go through a background check before they can be hired while also having to nail down contract terms. |

That says a lot about the man's character. He certainly said all he right things about the future of Aztec football as well. |

My favorite thing in the press conference was when he talked about the history of SDSU football and the relevance of Saint Don to modern day football. He doesn't get the credit he should get enough of the time.

I know it's just talk right now. But man, I can see HS recruits being fired up and wanting to play for that guy. I hope we can get some energetic, knowledgeable assistants and recruiting coordinator as well.
