This guy just throws stuff out there to see what will stick. He hasn’t been right yet! However, I’m confident we are in regardless of whether or not Colorado bolts for the Big 12. The guy is a joke. Blocked me when I called him out for lying by attributing things to Klavikoff that came from others, like Robbins. A total whiskey delta.

I can't imagine Colorado bolting for the B12 considering a large amount of their students come from Cali and thus pay out of state tuition, which brings in big bucks to the school so I would think they'd want some sort of Cali tie-in. But if they did, it would be extremely disappointing to finally be joining the PAC only to have it falling apart (even more than losing the two LA schools).

Lifelong Aztec fan since the Air Coryell era. Living in Utah since '94. Hence, my handle, LostAztec. Have been lurking for several months before the Admins let me in. I post as Spaztecs on the Aztec Football Forum and on the MWC Board. Flame away. Retiredaztec? . He's probably still trying to figure out how Snapdragon Stadium got built.

Along the same lines, back when I was playing, we used to have this annual Shrine Game. At half-time they would shoot off a crap load of fireworks, as we emerged for the second half, you could only see about 50 feet because the smoke from the fireworks would settle down into the bowl of the stadium. The worst part of it was that not only could you not see, you could not breathe from the acrid smoke in the air. Fog would have been preferable. Wasn't much, if any, better for those of us in the stands.

We are ALL tired. The other PAC presidents are tired. Think how much fun it must be to be a president in the PAC and the only questions that you get is about your dysfunctional athletic cabal. It doesn't help that Sanders has his boot up the ass of the regents and president and prominent boosters as well. Hoping all is well on June 30.

CU gets about $150m from California-based students Colorado Students: 36,122 *In-state: 51% *Out-of-state: 49% *Out-of-country: 7% *California: 10% of the total, 24% of out-of-state students (less out-of-country) That's 1 in 4. California by far, is the greatest source of out-of-state students at CU - Bolder. The same can be said of ASU & U of A.

If anyone is interested in a pessimistic take on Pac TV negotiations... Here is the latest from Andrew Marchand (NY Post Sports Media Columnist) on his most recent podcast: "Amazon is unlikely,"
"CBS is a no. NBC/USA is another no. Fox is a no too. Those are the biggest players. Then you get into Apple, they're a little bit of a wildcard. I've heard certain things, but nothing definitively. I lean towards probably not with them. The Pac-12 has said they do not want to do an all digital deal and it looks like that's Apple's strategy. So that leaves the CW, Scripps and those types of players."
"If the Pac-12 got a deal with ESPN, it would probably be for low money,"
"I would be very surprised if the Pac-12 got the same amount of money from ESPN as the Big 12."podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/episode-74-super-bowl-review-and-the-future-of-nba/id1587364692?i=1000599736171I don't buy what he is trying to sell. I'm pretty sure he said a month ago that ESPN was completely out. Now he is saying they are in but only for low money. The PAC has too many valuable brands and markets to be getting this much frostbite in the open market.

That is why you are hearing others like The CW, ION, Scripps etc are involved. Not one of them has the money to be the prime media rights purchaser. However, Apple has plenty of money. Weird that he hasn't heard anything regarding Apple. I mean, they're normally blabby about their deals.

Andrew Marchand has about as much expertise and inside info on the PAC-12 as my 9 year old son. AI is already way ahead of him on intelligence.
