One of the arguments for shutting down thread twice now is a lack of new news. But that just wasn’t accurate. There is always some new information coming out. This is the first place I always turn. Just play nicely everybody. Don’t rip on fellow posters. Don’t talk down on anybody. That’s what will shut it down again.

Did notice NBC announced that they would be having Saturday evening football games starting Sept 2 - Nebraska vs West Virginia - start time &:30 ET so 4:30 PT Not sure what their part of the BIG deal gives them going forward NBC has the evening game each week, while Fox has Noon and CBS has the midafternoon window (all times Eastern). NBC will package the Notre Dame game in the midafternoon slot to be followed by the BIG evening game. However, those would only be Notre Dame home games. That is where PAC12 might be able to get NBC to purchase games in which they don't have Notre Dame to package with the BIG. |

Recall that the admin didn't suspend the thread because if was off topic or because there wasn't reporting or speculation out there that would be of interest to the board. He suspended it because people were gettin snarky and mean spirited.

This is the most active topic on this message board for a reason and trying to suppress it isn't working. Anyways thanks op for the update I appreciate giving these threads a quick check when I have the free time. |

And...the clock is ticking as to when THIS thread is locked down. The clock is also ticking as to when the next thread regarding the PAC is started. This thread in all it's itenerations is the first, last and most frequent thread I check every day. I would hope the Mods would come to understand there's a reason this realignment is one of, if not the most, popular threads in AM history. There have been much worse threads, going further off topic, with more personal attacks, and wanderings into political issues that were never locked. If there's a poster who's causing issues then ban that user don't ban all of us from this thread. I want this thread to continue and am confident that a majority of the active posters on AM also want this thread to continue. Mods, please consider our wants before you shut down this thread again.
As long as people stop acting like children and engaging in namecalling and personal insults, and as long as the politics is kept to a minimum, it will stay open. The first thread got increasingly stupid, contentious, combative, and rude. Not to mention WAY the hell off topic. If this one can avoid that, then we're good. |

We don't have the time to monitor this thread 24/7. It's a lot of work, and we have other things to do. (Not to mention the fact that this is a volunteer gig and we get nothing out of this but the satisfaction of keeping a place open to support SDSU.) EVERYONE shares the responsibility to keep this thread open. If you just let people be assholes and turn a blind eye to it, then you're part of the problem, not the solution. If you read a post where someone gets out of line, tell them to knock that $#!+ off and act like adults - and then PM me. Things spun out of control on the first thread, and that just isn't fun to read. Like I said, I'll keep this open as long as people don't act like they're in a schoolyard. |

Well, you're not going to like this, but I have it from two sources that the PAC's TV deal will be out by ABOUT the end of the month and it will be 100% streaming -- no linear, not even for a Friday night or Saturday night game.
Nobody is going to believe me -- even I say that I don't entirely trust my own sources -- but this is pretty solid. I'm like 80% certain that this is legit.
We'll see soon enough...

It was tongue and cheek. But way to attempt to ruin another thread. To me, rule #1 is, when visiting another team's board, you don't poop on the carpet. And rule #2 is respect the administrator. His board; his rules. (Okay, William's, but you get the point.) I'm not trying to ruin a thread; I'm objecting to others ruinning it. And I'm tired of the refusal of several posters to follow the rules. The minute that even the mildest effort is made to maintain decorum, the whiners... oh, you know the rest.... I am very surprised that a self proclaimed "great thinker" can't see or understand that when you make snarky comments, someone or many others respond in kind. Sure it's fun for you to protray yourself as the poor victim being picked on by most of the rest of the posters; but after a myriad of posts it just comes across as trolling. In fact I think you secretly enjoy trying to bring us down. Constant demands for links, while at the same time keeping your "sources" secret is simply hypocritical on your part, and you should not be surprised when it's called out. Instead you take great offense at what are usually jokes at your expense. An example of this can be seen above. Despite what you may think, you aren't a moderator here, you don't set the rules for the Board, and therefore there is no reason for anyone to enjoy hearing what you think the rules are or should be. Of course you are tired of 'several posters" not following your perceived rules, so tired that you don't pass up on an opportunity for a blanket personal attack on them by labeling them "whiners." Additionally, for your ease of reference, let me provide you with a quote from you contained in this very thread. Yoda has said he is 90% certain that Fresno is going to the Big 12 and now says he is 80% certain the deal is all streaming. I’m not sure who his sources are but my sources tell me that they are 100% full of crap.
