How come on all the other "republicans are evil" threads you start, once people actually try to debate you, you disappear? Just wondering...

You can not engage in serious discourse with this troll. Ignore him is one way, but to point out what a shallow troll his is is better yet.

The Demagogues have huge majorities in Congress. Republican freshmen aren't even there yet, not until January. And everything is the Republicans' fault. Right.

Fact is all republicans are voting for this bill even though it will cost $860 Million dollars with no way to pay for it. Republicans said they would not pass any bill that was not paid for however you throw in a tax cut for those that make over $1MM a year and they vote it in with no plan to pay for it.
Also, if I were you I would be pissed if you are not making over $1MM a year and this passes. Those who make over $1MM a year get a bigger % tax break then those who make less. The more you make the bigger the % and $ you get back.
Mitch McConnell said that the only plan that would pass is one that had cuts for all taxpayers. He got it however it costs you and I almost one trillion dollars!
Both dems and republicans are to blame here. Both tend to cater to the rich and corporations. We need another system that can have Libertarians and Greens and any other party have a voice in the system.
Pissed off because I know where this is going. Ending Social Security and Medicare when I have been paying taxes into this system for years.
Sorry about not responding but I travel a lot and I don't like to log in from my mobile phone. Plus new topics open daily so some of these are ole news.

Dude $860 Million in additional costs that are not funded. Republicans said they would not pass anything that would add cost to the deficit. Since they said that I am calling them out. What are the cuts to pay for multi millionaire tax cuts? www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/

Funny how Congress that is still exactly the same as before the election is now claiming they are being held hostage by not yet seated Republicans. It is even more funny how liberals can't see that cutting the Dept of Education and the Dept of Energy would go a long way in paying for any short fall that would not be covered by the increased taxable economic activity that a stable tax policy would encourage. Do those things and simplify the tax code so that tax preparation leeches will have to go to work to make an honest living rather than being hucksters. Why do we even take for serious a person who can't spell package?

Why do we even take for serious a person who can't spell package? What is the difference between a civil service leach and a tax preparation leach? A tax leach hands their clients a bill and the client can pay, or not. Clients can return, or not, for service. They actually have to perform for their pay. Now a civil service leach just sits at his desk and shuffles paper, drinks some coffee, and then gets paid not matter what he did. When he retires, of course, he gets to complain about not getting a big enough COLA. I bet a lot of those tax preparation leaches wish they had got on that government gravy train. ;D

I would agree that with the exception of DOD and a few other functions we could do away with just about all of Federal Government and no one would miss a beat but the temp bump in the road as folks hooked up with new jobs in a booming economy caused by smaller Constitutional Government and a tax code that was simple enough for us to file a one page return with out some leech taking an additional cut. I bet you could work for a privatized TSA right beside Barney Frank grouping groins. Why did I just know how you would respond?

I had my chance to get on the gravy train. Just did not see my self as a government tit sucker. Guess it tasted good to you. You ran back to civil service after your early retirement from the Namy.

Funny that you can't see yourself as a "government tit sucker" but are comfortable as a bloodsucker from your fellow tax payers.

>>>What is the difference between a civil service leach and a tax preparation leach?<<<the Tax Leech
Since you misspelled the word "leech" consistently in the above post, I have to assume it was not a mere typo.
I certainly hope you are better at ciphering.

I'm going to step in here and defend 70 as much as it pains me to do so. If he's a tax preparer and I assume he is by the tenor of this conversation, he provides a valuable service. We may disagree with the government climate that makes his service necessary but that doesn't change the fact that he 's needed. My bookkeeper and accountant do my taxes. If not for them I'd spend most of my time keeping track. It's worth it to me to just sign the forms and be done with it. Fewer audits too...

What I am saying is that a simple tax code would let you do your taxes yourself with a one page return. Aztec70, Stop reading here. You should have figured out by now that my exchanges with Aztec70 are mostly tongue in cheek and political in nature. I always had tax and accounting help all the years I was in business even though my degree is in accounting.
