Great davesid. If you want to get less tax breaks for yourself and give more to millionaires you are free to vote those people in who will do that for you. Bush's tax breaks give a higher % back once you pass the $1MM mark then it does for those who make less. Why not give those who make under $1MM a year the same tax break? You are right. One thing about dems is they give their party the right to make decisions on their own. Republicans are threatened to vote togehter or they do not get any funding from their party to run in future races. I see the republicans blocked the 9-11 healthcare fund for 9-11 rescue workers who are now dying from cancer due to their choice to volenteer to help at ground zero. I am sure you are glad they blocked it. You must really feel happy about that especially before the Holidays. blogs.wsj.com/metropolis/2010/12/09/911-health-bill-fails-senate-vote/

Dude $860 Million in additional costs that are not funded. Republicans said they would not pass anything that would add cost to the deficit. Since they said that I am calling them out. What are the cuts to pay for multi millionaire tax cuts? www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/Republicans do not have the votes to stop anything you mother-f*ckers want to do. If you don't like what is going on... .......LOOK IN THE FOOKING MIRROR. You brain dead *******. OK, we all know the rules. As heated as things get in the Political Forums we still need to NOT cross that line - no personal insults or attacks. Thanks.

Funny how Congress that is still exactly the same as before the election is now claiming they are being held hostage by not yet seated Republicans. It is even more funny how liberals can't see that cutting the Dept of Education and the Dept of Energy would go a long way in paying for any short fall that would not be covered by the increased taxable economic activity that a stable tax policy would encourage. Do those things and simplify the tax code so that tax preparation leeches will have to go to work to make an honest living rather than being hucksters. This is a great post. The first part basically negates the entire premise of the thread. The rest is just food for thought.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_United_States_federal_budgetOne will note that cutting the Energy Department and Education Department will save about 60 billion dollars. The total expenditures are 355 trillion. Will the conservatives please explain how cutting the Energy and Education departments will save the country?

>>>What is the difference between a civil service leach and a tax preparation leach?<<<the Tax Leech Since you misspelled the word "leech" consistently in the above post, I have to assume it was not a mere typo. I certainly hope you are better at ciphering. You are right. I was spelling the verb, not the noun.

Funny that you can't see yourself as a "government tit sucker" but are comfortable as a bloodsucker from your fellow tax payers. I'm going to step in here and defend 70 as much as it pains me to do so. If he's a tax preparer and I assume he is by the tenor of this conversation, he provides a valuable service. We may disagree with the government climate that makes his service necessary but that doesn't change the fact that he 's needed. My bookkeeper and accountant do my taxes. If not for them I'd spend most of my time keeping track. It's worth it to me to just sign the forms and be done with it. Fewer audits too... ty

What I am saying is that a simple tax code would let you do your taxes yourself with a one page return. Aztec70, Stop reading here. You should have figured out by now that my exchanges with Aztec70 are mostly tongue in cheek and political in nature. I always had tax and accounting help all the years I was in business even though my degree is in accounting. u2
