Granted it was only 1 shot but his stroke looks solid... better than I thought it'd look. He could have/develop a solid short/mid range, and that drive where he finished off the glass near the end of the video looked nice too. He's definitely skilled with the ball. I also love how easily he dunks. Love guys who can do standing dunks in traffic . I think he's going to be a great player for us

I really like the idea of Arop mentoring Compton and the young African centers. Not just basketball skills, but his passion for doing whatever's necessary on the court to help the team succeed. Will be quite a scene...6'7" Aguek walking around campus with 2 seven footers

would be great if the director of TP HS T would invite Pharaoh 's team to play in their T during December
or the other two recruit's teams ?
It seems that Pharaoh plays with a high motor quite strong around the basket - trouble can be when players are playing against other HS players that do not have his frame will be - hopefully he can he do it at the next level - at SDSU against Aztec's opponents - sure looks like it but looking forward to seeing it in person
would guess that AG is walking around with MG and Jay Pal this year - two fairly tall guys

They're wrong. Pal played at a JC & 3 years at Campbell. He's a 5th year. Butler, Waters & Parrish are all 4th year players. Look at their bios not what a website tells you. Actually, you're wrong on Pal, in terms of his years at Campbell. He spent two years at Jacksonville State, prior to Campbell. 2019-2020 Clarendon, TX JC Played 16 games and averaged 5.6 RPG and 10.3 PPG, named the No. 62 overall JUCO prospect by JUCORecruiting.com 2020-2021 Jacksonville State (OVC) Played 27 games, started 21, and averaged 4.4 RPG and 5.2 PPG 2021-2022 Jacksonville State (ASUN) Played 28 games, started 1, and averaged 2.5 RPG and 2.9 PPG 2022-2023 Campbell (Big South) Played 32 games, started 32, and averaged 7.0 RPG and 12.3 PPG 2023-2024 San Diego State (MWC) So now you're admitting he's a 5th year?

Correct as per Go Aztecs and what Zeigler first reported when Jay Pal signed with SDSU
He was at a JC for his First Year
Then 2 Years at Jackson State
Then his Senior year at Campbell
This year would be his Fifth Year ( gets the Covid extra year ) playing at SDSU
Bottom Line this would be his last year he can play unless he gets injured and wants to red shirt

I never said I was right, I said I was following Verbal Commits eligibility listings, but yes, I was wrong to trust a website dedicated to college basketball rosters, signings, and transfers as the source for my post and knew he had played at various schools (beyond Campbell), including JC. Essentially this is his Covid year (5th.)

Essentially this is his Covid year (5th.) Dude, they're our own players. Why would you need Verbal Commits at all? GoAztecs.com is a significantly better resource. Or simply reading the UT, which has repeatedly said Pal was a 5th year player. I think everyone here knew Butler was a junior last year, as well as Parrish. BTW, Verbal Commits is a terrible website when it comes to eligibility. They're consistently inconsistent. Kenpom and Torvik are also inconsistent & inaccurate, sourcing from other sites where some track players based on whether or not they have a covid year while others don't. For instance, some like Verbal Commits list a player like Butler as a junior this year because he has a covid year, while others follow what SDSU states, which ignores potential covid year availability. Until the covid year thing is over they're all going to be out of whack & vary between sites. Verbal commits is great to track transfers, and even seeing who used to be on the rosters in various classes. Maybe some recruiting stuff as well, although not as good as 247 IMO. But nothing else.

Nah, already knew he was a 5th year who last played at Campbell, which are the only relevant things that matter. The videos that mattered focused on Campbell as well. But if you missed the multiple articles in the UT or EVT, the multiple radio interviews on the topic, or multiple threads on this website stating the same, and you were looking for info that's where you'd go. Not from a website that sources from others.

so is this a Pharaoh post or Jay Pal ? Hijacked on Page 7 to be about next years roster rather than Pharoah. The misinformation about Pal has taken 2 pages to clarify for some reason.

If you also talk about misinformation, we can go back to page 2 and 3 and show where you completely lied about SDSU not trying to get Mensah replacement. Now, let talk about Compton and only Compton.
