Obvious to a person who doesn't believe in nuance, political agenda, complexities of political reality or discerning between propaganda and the truth. The Law Professor is spot on. Joe's lying, the participation in the "business", the money laundering and concealment, the coincidence of payment and results, etc, etc, should be investigated further by an agency with some teeth without doubt. To do what? He's not going to be charged with anything. Can't charge a sitting president with a crime. Pesky policy. |

Joe Biden has been forced to walk back lie after lie after lie here. Even the NYT was tasked to revise history for Joe saying "It has long been known that the elder Mr. Biden has at times interacted with his son's business partners". Why lie if what he was doing with Hunter was legitimate and legal? Please raise your hand if you actually think the reason why Joe was on the phone calls to wealthy foreigners was to discuss the weather? Hunter and his 10% for the "Big Guy" is out there. Hunter's complaint about having to pay for his dad's upkeep is out there. Why all the complex payment schemes? Why did Joe knowingly say "Where's the money"? The timing of the Burisma hiring of Hunter, the investigation into Butisma by Shokin, the withholding of a loan by Biden to Ukraine and the firing of Shokin is impeccable. So it was Obama who ordered it all with no knowledge whatsoever that Hunter and the Big Guy were getting rich from Burisma? Gotcha. And clients from Russia and the CCP. Our enemies (at least they were when Trump was in office). Who are these people (Bidens included)? How do real people say nothing the Biden's did was illegal? Marks Indeed. A special counsel is absolutely warranted. Congress can't charge nor act efficiently enough to get to the bottom of these OBVIOUS bribery and racketeering crimes. Because there's no evidence. There's a MONUMENTAL difference between "corruption" in terms of foreign influence peddling and what we physically *KNOW* concerning the former president. That matters to me, it should matter to you. We have actual indictments, to that end. We have a Himalayan-level amount of evidence to a myriad of crimes. Not uncorroborated testimony, not hearsay, actual, rock+solid evidence. I have a grip.
