VCU just picked up a 6-11 sophomore forward from the portal, which likely closes the book on DeLoach going there. Deloach LEFT VCU; this kid replaced him.

I agree. Seems like a longshot to go with us, but I love the effort in trying to go after him. I like the idea that he visit us last, or after some others so we can close him. But … the risk is he commits elsewhere before we get him to campus/SD. If he didn't commit after visiting his old coach's new place at a successful P6 program I doubt he'd commit elsewhere before visiting us.

How do we get enough $$$ donations for NIL to pull in desirable players, winning and culture only goes so far with 18-23 year olds. I do believe that being a state school, limited the alumni wealth over the years. (That's not a fact, but a feeling.) This kid is from Savannah, GA, I can't remember the last MBB from Georgia?

We have a solid NIL program. We just need to keep it going.

Must’ve gotten a nice payday to want to spend the next couple years getting crushed on a regular basis in the SEC. Georgia is pretty bad.

The kid is from Georgia, so I hope he enjoys playing close to home.

Thank god this thread got moved so quickly. The tragedy that would occur if it remained on the main recruiting board for any amount of time committed elsewhere would have thrown the earth off it’s axis 🙄

I guess he will have to learn to enjoy being on a mediocre team at a football school and not making the tournament 😉
I think we need to get a throne, or big Aztec pyramid for our recruits to sit in/on when they visit.
