That 10 minutes in teh first half is what killed us. Not being able to hit open shots killed SDSU. UConn also made their FT’s. |

That 10 minutes in teh first half is what killed us. The bench scored 10 points, 16 points below their season average. That, along with Bradley shut down (again) by a big defender and it is a guaranteed loss against a good team. |

They beat us fair and square, outside of few questionable calls on both sides. I thought the game was clean.
Tip your hat to UConn.
As Mark Fisher said, they don't have much weaknesses, and it showed.
Inside game, outside game, they can defend, rebound, and do it all

Let's recruit us a few consistent three-point assassins for next year...players who can create their own shots...and we'll need a good rim protector (maybe one with solid post moves)...too much to ask?
That said, such a fantastic season. The lads just never quit all year long.

It was all about their length for us on offensive end. When we had opportunities inside, we alligator armed it because we were afraid of it getting blocked. They're better than us for now. We'll come back.
