It is like 1997 all over again… crazy amounts of money going to every tech start up and then boom… the money dried up… and they all went away… I would be shocked if schools keep coming up with $2m per year for BB and $5m to $10m per for football… it could last five years or so, but the NIL numbers are going to come down… Eventually the Power conferences will get control of NIL moving it from independent donors and bring it into university control. At that point a large portion on the TV money that has been spent adding extravagant facilities will get divert to player salaries. The silver lining is that soon we should be in a P5 conference.

did not think there was a dead period now - where players can not have any personal contact but can have other forms of communication but now realize there is one this week

so is there a dead period - for how long User so is there a dead period - for how long ChatGPT I'm sorry, but your question is not clear. Could you please provide more context or clarify what you mean by "dead period"? User Ncaa basketball ChatGPT If you're referring to the NCAA basketball dead period, it is a specific period during which college coaches are restricted from in-person recruiting activities with prospective student-athletes. During a dead period, coaches cannot have face-to-face contact with recruits, visit their schools, or have them visit the college campus. Dead periods are put in place by the NCAA and serve as periods of limited or no recruiting activity. The length and timing of dead periods can vary depending on the NCAA's regulations and any updates or changes made by the organization. It is recommended to refer to the NCAA's official website or consult the most recent NCAA guidelines for the specific details on the duration and timing of dead periods in college basketball.

Definitely don't see a fit, unless he's grown 4-5 inches. Doubt he comes here to take on a part-time role off the bench. If Butler goes to G-League, AU or EU, then sure. Terrific player though. Could he end up back home at Cal?

Pullin would be an awesome consolation if Butler stayed in the draft... (which, selfishly, I hope doesn't happen)

With the influx of players from other countries and NBA development players - it would seem that Lamont 's chances of being drafted in the first round and very likely the second - the NBA evals maybe a good learning experience for Lamont for next season
