Sure looks like KJ is thinking it's his last year (just saying) He would be crazy to pass up another year in college basketball with the way his game is right now. Before the game I had the opportunity to speak with Keshad's mother, dad and brother who all came down from Oakland for Senior night. I told her it would be nice if KJ would come back for another year. She told me that, "Where ever he goes he will have a good year." I mentioned that a lot of former Aztecs play overseas, and that J. FRANKLIN has made millions in China. She told me that KJ has seen Franklin in Las Vegas and that he has a "Mansion in the hills." Well Aztec Mesa I'm not NOSTRADAMUS, but after that short conversation I predict that KJ will be playing over seas next year, especially after he participated in the Senior ceremony. I also spoke to Uncle Teddy Leitner at great lengths, he said he WILL be coming back next year for both FB & BB, even with his bad eyes. Glad Jamaal is doing very well for himself Hope KJ has the same success |

leedee should come back. We also have another Johnson that's on the roster. KJ should go pro overseas.

I would suggest to him to go overseas as well if he wants to go professional. Otoh, 1 more year for ledee would do wonders for him. He would no longer be in the shadows of Mensah and Johnson. I think he would dominate the mwc. He has a really nice touch around the rim. I feel bad for trammel. He is definitely has limitations because of his height and he can’t jump like mac mcclong to make up the difference. I would agree about Johnson. He would be coming back cause he likes the team or likes college basketball not because he would be furthering his pro prospects. He just isn’t an NBA-level player and coming back won’t help that. He just can’t shoot well enough. I would like him back for my own selfish reasons but if he wants to make money playing basketball he will probably go overseas after the season. |

Keshad needs to do what is best for him and his family
But also know he would be the first person in his family to get their degree let alone a Masters and it could be paid for next season .
As mentioned his offensive game needs more development is needed even to play abroad
But he and his family will decide what is best for him .
Ledee had a great game and hope he wants to come back but could go as a Grad Transfer to any school he wants to
DT is discussion point that would be better in a separate post - but wonder does he need to be a grad transfer so he would not sit

Nice win last night. Great accomplishment winning the conference, esp when there are four other teams that are really solid. That was not an easy task.
Thanks Old School for posting all the clips of the celebration.
And of course it is amazing we could do such a thing with such poor players, none of them should even be on the team, let alone starting! (sarcasm). Wait, that means we must have an amazing coach! But that can't be true because we know that he sucks too! (more sarcasm). I'm confused.

Aztecs did win with thanks to a couple of guys that are usually reserves ( Adam and Ledee )
But as the announcers did remind us they should have beaten the Cowboys by close to 30 points and that when you play in MM a team needs strong play from your guards . Adam did step up , and Lamont was not that bad with 6 assists and having to defend their best player 6'7 PG .
IMO it is better to state some negatives about some Aztec plays when you win then easily pile on when they lose .

Nobody, repeat NOBODY, beat Wyoming by close to 30 this year, even as depleted as they are. The biggest margin was 20, and Wyoming has shown themselves to be capable of a surprising big upset occasionally... (Nevada, at New Mexico) |

Would love to see KJ come back for one more year. I think his decencies that many have pointed out could ( don't know if they would) be remedied and he could be outstanding. Even as he is he is a solid contributor.
