How many players does the Woman's team lose after this season
if they would play in the WNIT is it a pay to play

The off thread WSB topic was pretty much on target. I will be convinced they are relevant when they can beat UW and Oregon. JMO.

I only bring it up because the coach has been here for 10 years and has never finished higher than 4th place in the MWC. 8 of the 10 seasons have been losing seasons. She took over a program that had gone to the NCAA Tournament the year prior and her excuse was that Beth Burns left the program in bad shape. Well 10 years later she hasn't done anything. She is losing a lot this year and dont see us making the NCAA Tournament in the next 5 years. She watered down the scheduled and still didn't win enough. JMO.

The Women's Basketball program under Stacie Terry has not been good enough. A change should be coming. MIGHT not though, because the administration has too much going on right now. Potential conference realignment, new football stadium, men's basketball success. No chance will be made...because they dont CARE enough....this season will buy more seasons of just OK Women's basketball under the current coaching staff. |

She has one year at $250,000, left on her 4-year extension in 2020. A buyout would be for much less than that but I also think there's too much going on to let go now.
But man, if she goes back to .500 or under next year and get's rehired AGAIN, we should ask to see the photos she must have of Wicker.

Do hope they get selected for the WNIT- could help their recruiting and try to get the program back to where it used to be
Not sure what the team roster could be for next season
