Not even eight hours later. Another mass shooting ongoing, this time in Oklahoma, at OU. This is our new normal. False alarm on Oklahoma, thankfully. I hope they find the person that apparently made a bogus phone call to say there was an active shooter on Campus, and prosecute him to the fullest extent. If there's not a stiff penalty for doing this yet, there should be ASAP. |

I had a discussion with a gun person I know and it came down to "What's the difference between an AR-15 and a butter knife"? answer: nothing,they are both just tools...among some other tired responses, and the discussion never goes anywhere. For many, unless it's your kid getting shot, or you are at the concert getting bullets rained down on you...the American approach to minimally regulated distribution to "whoever" will continue...in fact it will get more loosened..like in Florida right now. On paper, its just so f****** stupid.
