Workers working on the Keystone Pipeline got fired from their $100,000+ a year job because of biden's actions in 2021. That is a major effect on those fired workers and their families. Go to work one day before Jan. 20, 2021 and then biden caused their firing from their job when he stopped the construction of the Keystone Pipeline on Jan. 20, 2021.

Virtually all those jobs were temporary. The full-time job creation would have been minimal at best.

I lost a job in the late 80's, because the field I was in was drying up. Because of that, I had to make a pretty major career change. I dont remember anybody crying for me.

I too almost changed jobs in the 70's. I was pondering moving from NMFS to a tuna bait boat. The Albacore fishery went on hard times. In retrospect I think life worked out. JMO

I get that the Constitution is hard for people like Jim Jordan, who voted to overturn a democratic election...but this is just a colossal waste of time, right in line with everything else they've done since taking the House.
2024 can't come soon enough.

Gym Jordan needs a colonoscopy so OSU can find the real story of what he knew! Call it an evidentiary search! He was complicit. JMO

Obama said it in so many words.. the real reason why he was then opposed (and now Joe and his puppet masters) to the Keystone XL pipeline was that the number of Union jobs needed to run the century old, overly expensive, inefficient and objectively ecologically unsafe railroads as they transport Canadian crude to refineries in the US dwarfs the number of Union jobs needed to implement the modern, ecologically safer, less expensive and more efficient pipeline. The results are more spills and more expensive gas but more net Union jobs! And with more expensive gas, Russia's income stream from their natural resources help fund their Ukraine war effort. Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln....

Tennessee Republicans in the House just voted to expel Democratic Rep. Justin Jones over his protesting of gun violence in the wake of the Nashville shooting.

Three 9-year-olds blown away...representatives fight for their constituents lives...and what do the white-supremacist fascist GOP do?...expel the woman and two Black people's representatives...democracy is dead in the Republican party...they are now a tyrannical organization...so I wouldn't be surprised if violence is its result...

Only one? They left the other two? The rest of the vote hasn't happened yet. Final vote is in: Gloria Johnson was not expelled, the other two members were. Interesting note that Johnson is white, the other two are not.

Good for Rep. Pearson! I’m now a fan.
Side note: while I am NOT a fan of the NRA, the problem goes sooooooo far beyond the NRA. I’ve shared non partisan proof of how they have far less influence these days and $$$. Far less.
Blaming the NRA is a lazy take and makes you part of the problem.
It’s politicians (yes, many GOP) too scared to lose their base vote because so many Americans are obsessed with taking their f****** AR’s to quarry’s and shooting targets while pounding beer. And actually believing they may need to “fight off the government “, or perhaps the British. 🙄
1. Require mental health checks to buy a gun. To avoid people using a quack Dr like potheads did to get a medicinal card, mandate it be a county mental health professional or form a board. 2. Restore the 90’s ban on assault weapons 3. More gun show regulation and enforcement 4. Harsher sentences for illegal possession 5. Don’t arm teachers. Get enlisted military and national guard personnel in schools, and school resource officers. Don’t tell me we can’t post an officer in most schools, but they can sit on speed traps ticketing speedsters.
I don’t have all the answers. But I think it would help.

Another mass shooting ongoing, this time in Oklahoma, at OU. This is our new normal.

Not even eight hours later. Another mass shooting ongoing, this time in Oklahoma, at OU. This is our new normal. False alarm on Oklahoma, thankfully. Unfortunately, those people in lockdown will still feel the trauma. There was one student who was sheltered in place who attended Sandy Hook. The psychological impact of the events is just as burdensome.
