I'd rather go back to the Ambassadork than use Zuma.

Ambassadork was a worse idea! Especially at the time. Rather have the Festivas pole. I know the Ambassadork is a terrible idea. I just think it would be better the a look-a-like of that other schools mascot. Hopefully we'll be in a conference where one of the members has a tree as a mascot so why not a pole. Still better than Zuma.
For me disgruntled Monty is the one and only mascot. But it's more likely we get a preferred B1G invite than that ever happening.

Zuma was an awful attempt at a furry mascot. Looked nothing like a Jaguar, more like they bought a used tan stuffed animal cat costume from the "flea" market and stuck a jersey on it. I wouldn't have a major issue with a supplemental character if they brought back Monty and the flaming spear, and the other truly was just a background character. Also at least make the damn thing look decent.   |

Change the mascot to SDSU Jaguars and have a live Jaguar, like how UGA has a live bulldog

A Teletubby mascot would fit in with the state of affairs. i'm sure the Student Council, faculty and administration would not object. Just have to work out the licensing agreement. Either Laa-Laa or Tinky Winky would suffice.
