Very unfortunate and unnecessary incident. Horrible. I hope the Cop is prosecuted to the fullest. Well, because the reality of it all is that there are good cops and bad cops, also there are incompetent and competent, trained and untrained ones as well. That goes for all facets of life, unfortunately. Not interested.

In other words, I know what your response will be right after I post mine.

Yeah, because you feel obligated to never take a stance against anything. It's literally laughable that you have to both sides every single topic under the sun instead of just using a platform for good and stating the obvious. This cop murdered a man and is already back to work the next day - Ho hum. Sorry if I refuse to cowardly accept that. It's called having integrity. We have a massive police issue in this country and it doesn't start with "Well, some good cops are out there."

I knew you had it in you. Reading comprehension much??? Not taking a stand? I literally said that it was a horrible act, and I was hoping that he would be tried in court to the fullest extent. There's also the fact that you asked, "How?" I was simply answering your question. The answers are true, unfortunately, but you would NEVER accept any of them. You, of course, want to make it seem as though ALL cops are bad. We get it. That's YOUR problem, and it's not true. Would you like posters to start posting all the acts of cops saving the lives of people, or helping people? You wouldn't dare do that. It would ruin your narrative. What a shame. You keep on TRYING to be the best SJW you can be.

You keep on TRYING to be the best SJW you can be. "Taking a stance" means you don't immediately backtrack and try to refute your own critique *or* diminish the action by explaining it away in some ridiculous fashion like you did here. Like you do...constantly. It's a pattern. That should be apparent, but if it isn't, maybe it should be. I don't have a narrative, I have the truth. The United States has a gross, gross issue with qualified immunity and an unbalanced system of justice that allows for this circumstance to happen repeatedly. The vetting process is awful, surpassed only by the punitive system in place that allows for these kinds of offenses to happen over and over and over again. The man in that video had a family. The officer gets to go home freely to his. Yeah, sorry for being angry about a systemic divide that keeps rearing its head whenever "justice" fails to win the day. Actually, I'm not sorry at all.

Diminish it? Again, I said it was a horrible act and I hoped he would have been tried in court to the fullest. Then, I gave you my reasons why I think these horrible actions occur. I get it, that'll never be enough for you since you think the WHOLE Police Force in the ENTIRE country is corrupt. Because you have these thoughts, it's ridiculous to go back and forth with you on this.

Yes, that is diminishing the atrocity of what occurred and minimizing your first statement. Clear as day. I wouldn't want to go back and forth on this either, the statistics aren't in your favor.

No, it was simply an answer to your question of "How." Nothing more, nothing less But, of course, you'll want to make it seem as though I'm diminishing the tragic event. That's just how you roll, unfortunately. There are no excuses for his actions. But, there ARE answers, and more than I gave in my earlier post, as to why tragic events like that happen concerning the Police, etc...

I guess he didn't learn his lesson, dining with one of the most vocal Holocaust deniers on the planet just a few weeks ago. A person who specifically and repeatedly has advocated for the removal of Jews from American society and promoting an entire Catholic-only government. Sounds more like political cover your ass mode after being pressed by reporters.

Better training, more accountability, better back ground checks, for starters.

"and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists -- because they should be condemned totally." That part is continually left out for some peoples narrative, just to be fair. Because it changes nothing when you look at the longer, far more extensive track record of racist statements and inflammatory remarks made by Trump. It also happened *after* the first statement was made, after being questioned by reporters. To say nothing of his closest advisor is being a white nationalist. Nuance. Facts.

Right off the bat, after looking at the article you linked, there's a quote in there attributed to Trump that is not factual. He did not say ALL Mexicans are murderers and rapists. This actually proves my thoughts that people will leave things out to justify their narrative. I didn't read it all, but that was enough to prove my point. Also, I'm not a Trump fan, and I'm not interested in defending him, but no matter who it is, I like to set the record straight if it calls for it

First of all, it's not a direct quote, it's describing a statement that was made. Secondly, what? He only referred to "some" Mexican immigrants as rapists and criminals and that somehow makes it okay? Also, I'm not a Trump fan and I'm not interested in defending him (which is exactly what you're doing here?) And if you're going to set the record straight, you should actually take the time to be accurate and somewhat honest.

From what I understand he was talking about MS-13 individuals, and the fact that there are people coming over the border that ARE criminals. Not ALL Mexicans. I hope I've met your demands, Sir Ryan. Sheesh

Trump says some incredibly dumb things and is very likely a racist.
But, the quote on immigration was always comically overblown. Some try and act like he was making a blanket statement about all Mexicans.
