The permanent Washington bureaucracy has brought the U.S. into being a banana republic. Partisan law enforcement for some, tolerance of lawlessness for others, spending without care for consequences, crony capitalism, corruption abounds, etc. The Biden crime family is a product of our permanent Washington and it shows. Tax violations, national security violations, the selling of office and many other crimes will never be properly or fairly dealt with in order to protect the grift. But, but Orange man... Will never be dealt with because it never happened. Just the solicitation to pay or receive money, let's say for sex, is a crime that involves the John, the prostitute, the Pimp or Madame, etc. So in the case of the laptop, we have evidence of a solicitation of a bribe that, by appearances, involves both Hunter and Joe. Now just how big of a true beliver do you really have to be to think that the evidence of Hunter soliciting a bribe for himself and his dad was not real but a plant and, if Hunter did make the demand, that Joe didn't know that it was happening? And this from his son who has a history of influence peddling to his father's office, who has a history of drug addiction (and the poor judgements that come from that state of dependency), who contemporaneously was likely committing crimes of tax fraud, FARA violations and fraud on a Federal gun ownership background check application and from a father who lied saying he didn't know anything about his son's internatoonal business dealings (while they were both traveling internationally the same tax payer funded airplane). Oh yeah...its all Rudy and the Russians

Oh yeah...its all Rudy and the Russians You'd be so much better off without the extreme and cheap editorializing, the silly buzzwords and the lack of original thought: Where is the direct proof Joe Biden was involved in soliciting anything? It really doesn't matter because the chain of custody with the laptop was broken to begin with AND the laptop wasn't even on the radar until, yeah, Rudy Giuliani, put it there. It's never going to be prosecuted. Fruit of the poisonous tree, very basic stuff. Noise.

No evidence is nonsense. Stop sounding like that idiot enabler from New York's 10th District Daniel Goldman who said the audio and video tape of biden getting the Ukranian prosecutor fired for investigating Hunter is a lie. This meets the definition of a quid pro quo. biden's own words was fire the prosecutor or Ukraine doesn't get the billion dollars and he (biden) is leaving in 6 hours, well S.O.B. they fired the prosecutor.

You're conflating two very different stories here...you realize that, right? "Former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka said in an interview published on Wednesday that he believes he was fired from his position last year for refusing to investigate President Biden’s son Hunter Biden at the request of Rudy Giuliani and former President Trump." The story you're referring to is completely separate from that, a completely different person and it wasn't because of Hunter Biden at all. Tell me you're unserious in no specific terms.

I am talking about biden's actions caught on video in his own words to the council on foreign relations about getting Ukranian prosecutor Viktor Shokin fired for investigating Hunter. C-span wrote "The Ukrainian prosecutor (Victor Shokin) was investigating biden's son and his company was fired at biden's request after threatening to withhold $1 billion in aid". Just once admit biden did something wrong that was criminal of a quid pro quo.

Just once admit biden did something wrong that was criminal of a quid pro quo. That's not what happened. From USA Today: "But sources ranging from former Obama administration officials to an anti-corruption advocate in Ukraine say the official, Viktor Shokin, was ousted for the opposite reason Trump and his allies claim. It wasn't because Shokin was investigating a natural gas company tied to Biden's son; it was because Shokin wasn't pursuing corruption among the country's politicians, according to a Ukrainian official and four former American officials who specialized in Ukraine and Europe. Shokin's inaction prompted international calls for his ouster and ultimately resulted in his removal by Ukraine's parliament." The idea of quid pro quo is humorous considering the circumstances: It's illegal for a president to coerce a foreign government to investigate a political rival.

You didn't notice who was talking? The cocaine eyes didn't give it away? What do you want the federal government to do? Pass relief checks? Hold utility companies accountable? How?

You’re too smart for this, take the partisan goggles off. Not going to humor this with a “Josh Jones stimulus plan” reply. Good Lord.

Not deflecting - Donald Trump Jr. is a compulsive liar and a fraud. Just is what it is. I'm less interested in what he has to say than virtually anyone. I have no issues with supporting Ukraine to the fullest extent possible. Putin's aggression must be dealt with, as much as a faction of the GOP would be angry about it. Do I wish my electric bill was cheaper? Sure. Do I wish food was cheaper? Hell yes. But do I blame Joe Biden for that? Nope.

Well, it’s ok. You don’t understand economics all too well. It’s easier to just resort to “oh well it’s a Fox News article” or similar.
Yawn. Moving on. You’re right, funding Ukrainian pensions is a great idea, Ry.

You’re right, funding Ukrainian pensions is a great idea, Ry. I understand economics fine, thankfully. Sources matter, as they always will. Understand enough to not take anything Donald Jr. says at face value, especially on this topic. I would hope that can be gathered pretty easily, given the Trump ties to Russia. The partisan screaming over this will fade, much like everything else in the political realm. I think it's much better than the alternative.

Who gives a $#!+ that Trump Jr shared a video? One of literally thousands to do so, LOL.
I also provided the official WH release.
It’s not as if it’s a matter in dispute. Ok fine, you agree with throwing billions at Ukraine —- I get it bud.
We’ll be here still in 2024, funding those pensions most likely!
Meanwhile, the number of American children food deprived continues to rise and major cities are flooded with drug filled homeless camps. But hey “we can’t do anything about it”.

Meanwhile, the number of American children food deprived continues to rise and major cities are flooded with drug filled homeless camps. But hey “we can’t do anything about it”. I don't care that he shared a video, I care about how he frames arguments and I care about reality-driven arguments. I live in El Cajon, less than two blocks from homeless tents on the sidewalk. I push through a fence that's been peeled back so the homeless can get through the canyon to camp, on broken sidewalks. I saw someone shooting up in plain sight, broad daylight, just a month ago or so. Right down the block from me. Scary stuff. The reality of the situation is we should be able to do both, but *local* governments are failing people just as badly as the federal government is. Homelessness can't be dealt with on a national level until it's dealt with at a local and state level. It's complicated - You have mental health failures, you have poverty issues, you have demographics issues, hell, you have me. I make ends meet every single month (barely) because I make "too much money" to qualify for any kind of assistance beyond what the VA pays me. Think about that. I was called a "crack in the system" when I applied for more financial aid. It sucks, man.

That’s a good take, and well reasoned. And, you’re pretty spot on, on much of that.
First and foremost, more needs to be done for our vets.
I just think the Ukraine aid strategy is fundamentally flawed and a bad look with what we have to hit domestically.
