Presidents don’t set the price of gas, but they certainly can affect the market by reducing supply, cancelling a pipeline or not allowing drilling permits on federal land. One person’s brainwashing is another person’s opinion making. How else can it be explained? Democrat voters elect and reelect candidates who are clearly mentally deficient (Federman, Biden) hate the country (Omar),or are so stupid they sleep with foreign spies (Swalwell). Why do these candidates keep receiving votes? The news is so slanted and edited in favor of the Democratic Party, how can it not be brainwashing? I suppose you think Hunter Biden is an honest and moral person? That Hillary Clinton was somehow justified when she and her staff destroyed evidence against her? I know you democrats hate Trump, and he certainly is a controversial figure. Most democrats actually liked him before he got involved in politics other than donating money to democrats, but the instant he announced his political intentions he became evil incarnate overnight. How did that happen? Simple. The liberal collective received their marching orders and the plebs fell into line. It just seems that when a Republican gets a black eye in politics, they are done, gone. That’s why there are fewer of them who have character issues. On the other hand, Democrats sleep with foreign spies and they are not out on their @$$? Instead they are lined up for influential committees? I honestly don’t see how any clear thinking objective person can support that. It’s as if you ignore reality and substitute a wild fiction given to you by the news outlets. Nope. All you have to do is look at historical crude oil prices per barrel and what you'll see is simple corporate greed for oil executives, predominantly. Different things can trigger supply issues: Hurricanes in the Gulf disrupting refineries, conflict overseas, etc...but it's not up to the president. Once again, the "pipeline" you're referring to was never operational and had zero effect on oil or gas here in the United States. Not now, not then, not ever. The rest of your post is disproven conspiracy theory, which is doing nothing but reinforcing your lack of seriousness. Won't waste my time dignifying it with any kind of explanation. It's the "talking points" I've referred to over and over. You know Swalwell was cleared two plus years ago, for example. Keep beating that drum though. So, it was just coincidence that gas prices more than doubled within a month of Biden taking office? Or perhaps you are going to blame it on Trump? Through Biden’s direct actions in cutting US oil production we reverted back to being an oil importer, under Trump we were an oil exporter. Biden had to crawl back to OPEC with his hat in hand asking the sheiks to increase their production. They told him to kick rocks. The Biden administration cut production as payback in exchange for the support of the environmental wacko left. The results THEN destabilized the energy situation in Europe. We had the Biden prices a full year before Putin invaded Ukraine. These issues and price hikes are self inflicted by the environmental wacko left to the American People. Swalwell was cleared by his Dem colleagues, but the general consensus is he is wouldn’t pass a US security screening and shouldn’t be on any significant committees. If he was a Republican, Swalwell would have been driven from the House of Representatives in shame by zealous Democratic opposition. Once again, given their horrible political actions , the fact Swalwell and proven liar Adam Schiff continue to be elected demonstrates the broken corrupt state of California Democratic Party politics. |
