How does an Executive Order command $300B in expenditures without associated authority and funding provided by Law? Or is it prosecutorial discretion and Biden is saying that the Executive branch won't go after you if you fail to pay up the last 10K? If the latter, why can't Biden simply say that all people with the last name of Biden get up to $1M in tax liability forgiveness?

Given the lawlessness of this Admin, however, they drive trucks thru any opening without consideration for original intent (See Border Fiasco).

The GOP thinks you're stupid, don't help them out by confirming that. "Lawlessness" is a wonderful talking point - Can we talk about it in a broader context when you had no objections when your party was doing it?

I know there is a lot more administration in college, the cost is a joke. And, the number of hoops you have to jump through, most of which are meaningless, to get some jobs is ridiculous too. BTW this ISN"T going to lower the cost of college, if anything it will raise it...

Poor gal was working 6 days a week..hardly denting her $200,000 loans...this is not right for a society!!

A quarter measure for a quarter man. Drastically less than promised on the campaign trail, just enough to whip dullard rightards into a frenzy.

Never forget, Senator Biden is the reason student loans aren’t dischargeable in bankruptcy.

Poor gal was working 6 days a week..hardly denting her $200,000 loans...this is not right for a society!! As far as France, I don't know. I would have to see what it actually costs and what degrees are covered, etc. Honestly, I loved college, but a lot of my education was a waste of money (and it didn't cost much then!). In your PT example, why get a $200,000 loan for a job that isn't going to be worth it? If you do that, why should someone else pay your loan? I agree that it is ridiculous, but I don't see having someone else pay the debt as a solution. But I agree, the high cost of college is not a good thing. I still don't understand why the cost is so much higher then when I went to school....

For a brief period I worked with people who were doing their jobs just for the money, and quite a few hated going to work. If you do this pattern for too many years, (and I've seen the result), it might not be a healthy or happy later years.

Yes, it's true. You are going to be spending a lot of your life at your job, if you can, it's great to work at something you enjoy / believe in / appreciate...

meanwhile, my two young beautiful cousins in France got their entire educations n medicine subsidized in France. Now two successful doctors can help society and thrive without owing 300,000 each. We had a Navy Doctor in the neighborhood a few years ago and I am all for the taxpayer paying for an education if the resultant degree is used to serve the Government's need in medicine for a set number of years (as did this Dr.). He eventually went to private practice but I don't think tax payers should pay for a Dr's education with immediate private practice to follow. The ROI for the taxpayer is nearly incalculable and potentially negligible, especially if the new Dr. goes into private cosmetic surgery, for example.

We should have debt releif for everyone. You can choose. $10,000 off your mortgage, student loan or credit card.
