Again, there's very little truth to this. No smear tactics? Did you not watch the hearing? Outright racial and sexual bias on full display. Blackburn's CRT crusade, straight out of the playbook. The GOP is literally so stupid that they tried to bait her into a predictably pathetic line of questioning that had nothing to do with her reputation or qualifications - It was mudslinging hypocrisy, as per their norm. Race riots? Lol. This feels like a Facebook post gone wrong. You didn't even address the fact that the Republicans wouldn't vote for ANYONE Biden nominated, let alone the most qualified appointee perhaps ever. Well, that’s your viewpoint. These proceedings were tame compared to the democrat slander Judge Kavanaugh had to endure. As for rioting, the Democrats pull the trigger on that almost every year, Baltimore, Ferguson, Kenosha, Minneapolis, New York, Denver, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, La Mesa ect. I can understand your confusion if you are a CNN viewer, since they are dedicated to an agenda and have trouble reporting accurate stories. Bottom line, she’s in with the Supremes. Yeah, because he was credibly accused of sexual assault by multiple women and hundreds of Harvard alumni signed a petition to get him removed from his lecturing position at the university. His seat was basically bought. I understand if your objectivity or intellectual honesty is non-existent here, but those protests had absolutely no connection to the Supreme Court nominees, in case the truth is hard to spot here.

This is absurd, none of those accusations were remotely proven. You need to revise your statement to “accused by hundreds of liberal activists with a progressive agenda” for it to be truthful. This is part of the cancel culture you liberals love to embrace. Anyone can be slandered into submission by the left using unsubstantiated lies. The question of gender roles is front and center in our society, she sidestepped it and totally avoided the question.

Please refrain from personal attacks, they are inappropriate. You obviously take your news from MSNBC, CNN, WAPO, NYT and other proven unreliable sources who have been forced to retract numerous stories and statements….quite embarrassing for them actually. Unless you are on the inside of politics ((which you are not), our opinions are all dependent on media coverage/reporting and the agendas which come with them.

Considering you don't source anything you argue, does it really matter? You tried to insinuate that Justice Jackson was unqualified for her position when she's pretty much the most qualified candidate in modern history, considering her educational and law background. I'm sorry you're a diehard Trumpist who can't tell what reality is, which way is up, or what the truth stands for. That's again entirely up to you. If you want to believe the GOP boogeyman bingo card, that's your prerogative. I just laugh at "unreliable sources" - A reliable source is only going to be one that suits your narrative.

You clearly don’t understand the words you type. “Blatant liar” is a personal attack. Now, to many liberals lying is just like breathing and it comes very easy to them, so perhaps it’s not a big deal to you. Case in point, the liberals who attacked Judge Kavanaugh had a political agenda (they feared the overturning of Roe v Wade for example) therefore they put aside their moral compasses and lied like crazy about him attempting to turn him into a serial rapist running amok in Harvard Yard, which he clearly was not. These women want the ghoulish right to flush fetuses down the toilet and in order to protect that abhorrent practice, they feverishly lied to attempt to prevent Judge Kavanaugh from being confirmed. The phrase “by any means necessary” was spoken several times by many liberals including Elizabeth Warren. Honestly, I’m fairly confident Senator Cruz and his colleagues went easy on our newest Supreme. It’s a sort of blackmail isn’t it? Truly, if you don’t give liberals what they demand, out come the Molotov cocktails and the baseball bats and they instigate a riot, burning homes and looting businesses. It’s happened before…..

Regarding "liars", that's hilarious coming from you. You love liars like trump, who in the run-up to 2016 said he didn't have anything to do with Russia and didn't know any Russians. Yet in 2015, his Beavis son is on video bragging that the trump organization didn't need money (loans) from US banks or Deutsche Bank because they were getting all they wanted from Russia. Man, you rail at MSNBC, but one of their correspondents, Malcolm Nance, picked up an assault rifle and has joined the resistance in Ukraine. Of course you celebrate tucker carlson being featured on Russian TV as propaganda material. Your takes are a joke.

No. It's racist hypocrisy on full display in a confirmation hearing for the highest court in America, where lifetime appointments are had, where policy on societal and legal issued is shaped for decades to come. And your racist dogwhistle is more than enough to cover for them. Here's the problem in a nutshell: The moral outrage that always stems from this argument is a fallacy. The entire position and party is cloaked in fear mongering. Whether it's masks, critical race theory, transgender rights, you name it...there's no element of truth or righteousness. It's about fear and stoking division. Always has been.

Just here to say - The Supreme Court has devolved (maybe it was always that way, but I’m judging based on my lifetime) into a purely political body that should either be a) abolished, or b) treated as such via expansion by the party in power when it suits them and they are able.
Anyone that respects the court as a legal authority at this point is either painfully naive or has been more fortunate in that their own opinion has been agreed to by the Court more often than not.

The ideology of the Supreme Court is just based on who is doing the appointing and their agenda. Unfortunate, but true.

Anyone that respects the court as a legal authority at this point is either painfully naive or has been more fortunate in that their own opinion has been agreed to by the Court more often than not. I can agree with this point, with the caveat that Justices Kagan, Sotomayor, Gorsuch and even RBG almost always vote(d) with the party expectations, rarely reaching across the aisle. Justices Roberts, Thomas, Alito usually return the favor although they have been known to occasionally go with the left crowd if the law supports the argument. This court is highly politicized, as much as any point in US history. I’m not sure exactly what the implications of this are, only that it reflects our current national mindset.

Were you at Harvard in the 1970’s?(or whenever Kavanaugh was there). If the answer is no, then you are basing YOUR OPINIONS on secondhand/thirdhand accounts and hearsay. Not a very solid foundation to make your unproven accusations…..but what the hey, if it was on CNN it must be perfectly accurate…..right?🙄 I was actually in front of my TV when the liberal demonization and slandering of Justice Kavanaugh occurred. I heard those politically motivated vermin speak their lies, a first hand account. The vicious smearing of Justice Kavanaugh was presented to the entire country on television and only kool aid drinking liberals thought this was somehow appropriate. The confirmation we just saw was a folk dance compared to what Justice Kavanaugh went through. BTW, that last sentence……you basically say that to everyone who disagrees with you, which is for the sake of clarity, pathetic.

Let's be clear: You're okay with the line of questioning given to Justice Jackson, even though it was decidedly racist and sexist in nature, yet Kavanaugh was "smeared" and "demonized." Couldn't have anything to do with the actual person, could it? Again, this is textbook GOP hypocrisy on display. You're parroting the same lines Lindsey and Ted did, making the confirmation hearing about airing old grievances and not the qualifications of the person in question. I'm glad you brought this up, because here's a cut comparing the two hearings.

To see the crocodile tears coming from the ilk that created the verb "Bork" is just too funny! Setting up a 1-800-LIE-TOME phone line inviting leftist kooks to make baseless claims against a GOP SCOTUS Nominee and then feign outrage that these "tips" are not taken seriously is really amusing (if not pathetic). Her record of straying from the sentencing guidelines was self evident. Don't tell me the mean GOP Senators made her own her own documented judicial record? Oh Boo Hoo! Perhaps someone should have set up a toll free phone number soliciting lies about her and then we could have amplified those lies, especially the ones about her private life before college - that would have served the public better apparently .

Dude is all talking points and bull$#!+. Ok, it’s now a group effort. Let me say it in a different way, perhaps you will get it. The Congressional questions are part of the process, for both parties. I stated the level of attack was more intense on Justice Kavanaugh than on Justice Jackson. That’s my opinion, and I believe it is accurate. Here is some political logic for you: Right now the Republicans have a midterm to dominate, therefore they are not going to rock the boat with over the top questions. With Kavanaugh, the liberals were blinded with anti Trump rage and wanted protect the continuation of Roe v Wade, so they went all in with the demonization and lies. Surely you can follow that? My opinion, but it also makes sense. Not once in this thread (until this point) did I reference anyone’s ethnicity or skin color. That was all you libs, it seems you all think in those terms. You injected that into the discussion, and you toss around accusations very freely and casually. Wouldn’t that make you the __________? I really don’t care about the amount of pigment in a person’s skin, it’s ridiculous to me, but you jokers obviously do. You are the ones constantly bringing it up. Wouldn’t that make you the _____________? See? I don’t even have to type the word, and your brains just automatically go there. Proof positive, seek help. This argument is over, no more zingers…….just think about it.
