Matt Bradley, Malachi Flynn, Yanni Wetzel, Max Hoetzel, Tiki Gill Caesar, Valentine Izundu, Angelo Chol, JJ O'Brien. That's 8 guys off the top of my head that have transferred in from larger conferences, so I 'd say we've had good success with P-6 guys overall. The questions the coaches are considering is, would you rather have a stud from a smaller conference, or a highly recruited guy who didn't get as many minutes or didn't win enough at say a Washington or an Arizona State or what have you. It's the Terrel Gomez scenario pretty much to a T. Gotta choose wisely... Sean Rooks Sean Rooks didn't play for the Aztecs. His son Kameron did though.

D’maurian Williams, 6'5" 195 Combo Guard, Sophomore, Gardner-Webb has been linked to San Diego State. Nice stroke from 3, good mid range power game. 2021-2022: 31 games, 40% FG 39% 3FG, 80% FT 4.0 RPG, 2.5 APG, 14.5 PPG And he has 3 years left of eligibility. Not sure exactly what a 79% Defensive rating from Synergy involves but that's a high number. Would love to have a 6'5" guard that can post up. Hoping for either him or the 6'4" kid from Oregon State who was really clutch last year in MM. D’maurian Williams signed with Texas Tech

yes would have been nice to get the 6'5" guard from the state of Arizona or the 6'2" guard Ethan Andedrson from USC who as you mentioned is going to the Cowboys

Cowboys pick up 6'9" USC Transfer Max Agbonkpolo, who we recruited out of H.S. The Cowboys return most of their starting unit + 2 USC Transfers, Anderson played 90 games, 49 starts, Max Agbonkpolo played 90 games, started 21 and 18 last year. Wyo gets 40% of the Trojan starting line-up. UCLA sharpshooter also visiting Wyoming. The Pokes have signed two starting USC players, and now talking to Jake Kyman.

Could be a great pick up group for the Cowboys -
take it they did not want to chat with the Aztecs

This is a good thing for the Pokes and the MWC. I see an even more improved league with both UNLV and New Mexico improving. Biggest drop offs could be Fresno (if Robinson leaves) and Nevada so far.

Could be a great pick up group for the Cowboys - take it they did not want to chat with the Aztecs Aztecs didn't reach out. Clearly USC let them go and were going very hard after Trammell.

why would you say the Aztecs were not interested in a 6'2" guard and 6'9" Forward that have played against PAC opponents
Unless Matt B had some thoughts that he mentioned to the coaches
Would hope that Nathan makes up his mind what he is going to do this up coming season

Let's put this the opposite way... why do you think the two USC transfers would have been good additions, based on what SDSU needs/needed to add? Specifically, what about their skill sets does SDSD need?

4 star recruit from HS. Only averaged 2.4 pts per game in 11 minutes. Looks more like a pure SG; shot 56% from 3 in his limited role at vandy. Recruited by vandy, Arizona, Arkansas, Rutgers, ASU, Clemson and cinci among others. Only a freshman, so would have 3 years remaining Signed with St.Joes

What if they aren’t great teammates, what if the staff is super high on the combo of LeDee, Johnson, and Saunders in our front court? Just because they played in the Pac 12 (sparingly I might add), doesn’t mean we automatically want them or that they fit the mold of what we are looking for. I GUARANTEE you that our staff is far more in touch with the portal and who brings what to the table, than anybody on this board. It is their job, after all.

First things first is understanding who is staying and who is leaving. The staff has got to know more then they are letting on in the way they are going to fill out the remaining roster spots with Mensha and Arop either staying or leaving. If they are able to get Mensha to back they have so much more flexibility for the team. With both come back they would be able to run Arop part time at near his max for short spurts and not really need much more then 6-8 minutes a game spelling the 3-4 position players. From what it looks like right now they have 1 spot left (if TAHIROU DIABATE is not returning and CADE ALGER is still a walk-on) along with Mensha and Arop.

Those options include returning to SMU for a super senior season or landing at another school such as TCU. Programs such as Houston and Memphis are also reportedly expected to be in the mix." Strange choice for Quintana if true. He could play for his hometown team, sees like he would fill our need,
