The Aztec player to talk to about Andre would be Matt
Would guess Washington is looking for the best fit for him - getting offers from P6 are very tempting .
ASU did get a transfer from Nevada already - if Washington and that guard then that could be a match
There not many 5's out there - think the top one was from Utah Valley

Kelly isn't coming here to be a backup. Only shot he comes here is if Nathan leaves

As of now here is the scholarship situation.
On Scholarship (assuming they don't transfer): Keshad Trammell Seiko Bradley Butler Demarshay Ledee Mazara Bryd Saunders
There are 2 spots open for Mensah (seems to be up in air) and Arop (seems to be leaning towards coming back)
If both comeback there is only 1 scholarship available and based on everything said we are looking for a bigger guard that can shoot. A big doesn't happen if nathan/arop comes back

Jarod Lucas might be down to Washington State, Nevada and SDSU. You would think SDSU is leading.

Aztecs one of the top selections for Rudi Williams; UConn, Cal, San Diego State, Butler, BYU, George Mason, Wichita State, and Xavier. Aztecs have limited PT minutes compared others.

If Lucas's main concern is starting and getting to play a lot seems that Nevada and WSU will have a considerable amount of PT to offer
Stability and possibly MM then Aztecs could have the edge
Williams - would guess that Sean Miller at Xavier as we all know is a strong recruiter and will say about anything to land a recruit

think Butler's new coach is former Buckeyes Coach Matta - who has also hired a former Louisville coach
Sean Miller at Xavier
A very wide assortment of teams from the East to Midwest to the West
Is interesting to see the Aztecs keep looking for additional players

Aztecs are after some quality guys But they are also being pursued by some other quality schools - so as is usually the case it is the transfer that gets to make the decision - what is most important for each player varies

Not linked to SDSU, but UNLV picked up 2 pretty good players today in Harkless from Oklahoma & Parquet from Colorado. Parquet was considered to be one of the best defenders in the conference, especially around the perimeter.
Utah State picked up a young 7'0 from the U of Oregon in Johnson today. Still raw, but with a high upside. USC, Gonzaga & others offered out of HS but he's from Utah.
Good adds to the conference. The MWC just got better today.

Rumored that he may commit on this trip...but then again, who knows? Many insiders feel good about Lucas as an Aztec.

Didn't Gianni Hunt play HS ball with Jordan Schakel? Yep. So did LSU Transfer, 3-star Brad Ezewiro who stands 6'8" 245. All from Bishop Montgomery in Torrance, CA. Gianni has had his challenges shooting the ball at Oregon State, Former Bishop Montgomery HS, Aztec recruit who went to Oregon State, Gianni Hunt to play at Sac State (Big Sky MBB, not the ABC TV show)

Lucas is pretty good.
But Antonio Reeves is the key to making the Sweet Sixteen. He is long (better D) and has a much better shot and is the better playmaker.
